LCR (Limbus Company Reaping) is a fanbranch/head story of mine based on works of Polish classic literature, folklore, and Slavic paganism, and it's the focus of this blog - but my other Limbus characters and my friends' OCs will pop up occasionally too. SANGUINE DESIRE [E.G.O.] Chetwyn

Inspired by Polish folk dresses.... But I may have gotten the details wrong, sorry... I really just wanted to draw Chetwyn in a pretty dress though, and I thought that the colour scheme fits perfectly with Sanguine Desire. I didn't put in the rib bones even though they look very cool, because I don't like it. I like the teeth though so I kept it in.

Forgot to say Sanguine Desire was requested by @ore-nanimonai and @cyanberry08-3. The Red Shoes analysis below:

This Abnormality admittedly stumped me. It's tied with Pink Shoes, and the idea that you're being possessed to giving into your desires. I think it fairly made sense to give to Rodya and Chetwyn, as they have in the past fallen to temptations of short term relief to catatrosphic results. But I think the underlying motive that's being exploited here is the desire to temporarily shut out everyone else. "It's my shoes and I deserve to wear it", to justify the mistake you made. It's erasing everything about you, defining you only by its will to inflict more violence and cause bloodshed. You merely wanted a pretty pair of shoes, and you were so willing to put it on that you didn't care of what was going to happen.

It's designated O, meaning it's probably a physical object in the City, that has wills of its own. There's not really a moral of the story here, the shoes are just evil, don't wear them.

Today marks the second year I am celebrating my Tchaikovsky's birthday! Writing him and researching about his irl inspiration changed my life in so many ways I never could have imagined, and I've met so many wonderful people because of him.
