The House of Gord Kinkanapolis Rules for Femcar Racing
FemCar Event Rules
General Rules
All contestants are required to comply with the rules of the event at all times. Failure to do so may result, at the discretion of the Race Marshall, in disqualification.
The decision of the Race Marshall is final.
Fem-engines must be physically female. Drivers may be of either gender.
Drivers shall determine and certify that their fem-engines are in good health, and capable of competing without risk.
All participants and spectators must be no less than 19 years of age. Race Officials reserve the right to request valid I.D.
Consumption of alcohol or non-prescription drugs by participants within 8 hours prior to or during the event is prohibitted.
Alcohol and/or drugs are strictly prohibitted in the event area.
Nipples and genitals must be covered at all times.
All spectators, track officials, drivers, fem-engines, and all other persons will be required to sign a release of liability before being permitted to enter the event area.
Safety
The primary concern and focus of this event shall be the safety of the fem-engines.
Cross-chest electrical stimulation of any form is prohibited.
Methods used to secure the fem-engine into the FemCar must be designed for quick release in the event of emergency. Locking methods which require tools or a key to unlock are not permitted.
In the event of an emergency involving a fem-engine, the Race Marshall reserves the right to cut any restraints without regard to damage to the FemCar, if the distressed fem-engine cannot be removed quickly.
All FemCars must be equipped with a mechanism, other than voice, by which the fem-engine can signal the driver in the event of an emergency.
FemCars shall be designed so as to afford sufficient protection to prevent injury to the fem-engine in the event of a crash.
Designers shall ensure a constant air flow to the fem-engine at all times. Silencer/muffler systems must be capable of being quickly removed.
Respiratory intake of the fem-engine must be filtered against ingress of foreign particles.
Wheely bars must be fitted to vehicles capable of performing wheelies, and fem-engines must be protected by a roll-over bar that complies with FEMCAR INTERNATIONAL rules.
Any external batteries used must be securely mounted to the FemCar. Lead-Acid batteries are not permitted. Batteries shall be of carbon-electrode, Gel-Cel, Nickel-Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydrite, or other non-liquid types.
FemCars must be equipped with a seatbelt, which the driver must wear, properly affixed, while the FemCar is being driven.
Turn signals, either electrical or hand-style, must be used when a FemCar is being driven anywhere but the actual track surface.
Any injury, no matter how small, must be reported to Kinkanapolis Medical Services personnel immediately.
In the event of collision, drivers and fem-engines of all involved vehicles must be cleared by Medical Services, regardless of whether or not they are injured. Drivers and fem-engines will not be permitted to race until cleared.
The Race Marshall or Technical Inspector may ban a FemCar from the track if, in his opinion, the fem-engine is not sufficiently protected.
Construction
FemCars must be of sound construction and capable of passing a Technical Inspection.
Chassis, frame, cowling, and bodywork of the FemCar may be made of any material.
FemCars must have at least three wheels, and no more than six wheels, all of which must contact the ground. Twined super-traction wheels, coupled together at a side-by-side distance of no more than 30 millimeters will be accepted as a single wheel.
At this time, FemCars may be powered by one fem-engine only. This rule may be subject to change. If enough interest in multi-engine FemCars is expressed, the organizors will consider creating a "multi-engine class". At least three entries must be received before a mylti-engine class will be created.
The fem-engine must be the primary form of propulsion of the FemCar. Fem-engines may not be used to charge or power electric motors, etc.
FemCars may not be modified once they have entered the pit area. Repairs to existing construction are permitted.
Fem-engines must be securely restrained when installed in the FemCar.
Fem-engines' arms or hands may not be used for propulsion or steering, and must be immobilized.
Once installed in the FemCar, fem-engines must not be capable of sight . The method of sight inhibiting is at the discretion of the designer.
Fem-engines must wear high-heeled shoes, with a heel height of no less than four inches. Shoes must be permanently attached to the FemCar.
Fem-engines must be completely enclosed within the outermost perimeter of the FemCar.
No part of the fem-engine may contact the ground.
All parts of the fem-engine must be no less than three inches from the ground.
All signalling to the fem-engine by the driver must be mechanical or electrical. Voice commands may not be used.
Fem-engines are not permitted to speak once the FemCar has left the pit area. At the discretion of the driver, fem-engines may speak in the pit area. Noise emissions must be within FEMCAR limitations. Silencer /muffler systems are mandatory.
FemCar designers shall take precautions against fem-engine leaks, thereby avoiding liquids on the track.
FemCars must be equipped with an effective method of mechanical braking. Foot-dragging, or braking actions by the fem-engine will not be accepted.
Drivers must have complete control over the steering of the FemCar.
FemCars must be capable of turning one hundred and eighty degrees in no more than twenty feet.
Jet propulsion is banned. Anyone found to have fed beans or prunes to a fem-engine within 48 hours prior to the race will be disqualified without appeal.
Supercharging
In the event that a FemCar designer elects to use electrical stimulation, no more than four channels may be used.
Alternate safe air sources, such as medical grade oxygen, may be used. In the event that alternate air sources are used, the minimum flow rate shall be no less than ten litres per minute. Mechanisms shall be such that a fem-engine can be switched back to atmospheric air in no more than 15 seconds.
Fem Engines may not be ventilated beyond 1.2 atm., and fuel mixture may not exceed 95% Oxygen for extended periods.
Other performance enhancing gases must be cleared by FEMCAR 1999 prior to race. Hydrogen, Helium, and other exotic mixer gases are banned. Pain control gases, including but not limited to Entonox, Nitronox, etc., are also banned.
Insertable supercharging devices may not exceed "level 6" on the TENS Unit scale.
Impact-style performance enhancers may not exceed level 10 (10 day retention of marks) when 'red-lining' the fem-engine.
Gearing
No restrictions: - but fem-engines must be capable of reverse operation. All vehicles will be required to compete in maneuverability tests, as part of the technical inspection, in order to qualify.
Flags
Drivers shall comply immediately with all flag signals from Track Officials.
Flag signals shall be as follows:
GREEN - GO!!! - Commence racing.
YELLOW - CAUTION! - Hazard on track - slow down and maintain position - no passing.
RED - STOP! - Danger - Stop immediately.
BLACK - The FemCar that the flag is pointed at has been deemed unsafe, or has been disqualified, and must immediately return to the Pit Area.
CHECKERED - RACE COMPLETED! - Complete one cool-down lap at slow speed, then return to the Pit Area.
Failure to comply with flag signals will result in disqualification.
The Race Marshall or the Starter shall be responsible for determining when a flag is to be shown.
