I want to finish the backstory for my main character, but I also want to write personal fanfictions to sate my interests and potentially edit later to release for other people. I'm not exactly a good writer though (reason I'm a biochemistry major - science writing is plain and to the point!) so I fear that I won't do either of these things justice.
I also am realizing that I'm bettering myself bit by bit every day. I'm eating and drinking healthier and such. I'm actually hanging out with friends and such, so I also don't know if this hidden motivation is just a string in the bettering myself and that once I get home or later down the line if it will just fall off.
Does anyone have any advice? I dunno what to personally do and I've never had this sort of issue before.
