“Did it hurt you greatly when you fell out of the idiot tree or was it rather the arsehole tree that gave you that big head when you fell out of it?”
“Good one.”
“It is thank you.”Â
“Antonin is a doll though, he’s polite and handsome and not a rat,” she mused, trying to rouse her friend into excitement rather than send her into a spiral of thinking about Ansel. Rosalind’s feelings for Ansel were simple in that she didn’t trust the boy with Caroline’s heart. “Come on, want to practice throwing a bouquet?” Her eyes lit up like a bonfire.Â
“He is pretty handsome…” Caroline sighed after a moment with a small smile, “Yes!” She quickly stood up and transfigured a pillow into a bouquet before turning to throw it.
“The most handsome, I mean goodness gracious Care, think of your babies they’ll be the most perfect porcelain things.” Rosie was elated Caroline was excited about throwing the flowers and stood up and clapped her hands. “Okay I wonder who will be the next bride,” she laughed.
“I wouldn’t let you, that’s the difference.”
“Don’t let loneliness turn you bitter, Rosie. No one will want you like that. I’m sure someone will pay you the attention you crave someday.”
“Did it hurt you greatly when you fell out of the idiot tree or was it rather the arsehole tree that gave you that big head when you fell out of it?”
“Oh up yours, just because I’m not throwing you my cat doesn’t mean I’m not fun.”
“Now now, my love, what makes you think I would touch you?”
“I wouldn’t let you, that’s the difference.”
“Ugh mums can be a drag. You’ve just got to remind her it’s your wedding not hers,” she laughed, sipping her wine again before she looked back up at Caro, “What’s there to wait for?”
“I suppose…” Caroline said with a shrug, “I don’t know… I hardly even know him. And we only just got engaged. And Ansel is about to have to end his engagement. I don’t want to just rub mine in his face like that.”

“Sounds lovely,” she mused, “Is it your passion though?”
“I’m plenty fun!” she protested. “Just because I’m not a loosey goosey doesn’t mean I’m not fun.”
“And what do you do that’s fun? Nag? Bitch?”
“Oh up yours, just because I’m not throwing you my cat doesn’t mean I’m not fun.”

“I’ve been rather quiet since spending the month with my Grandmother. Old bat had me wanting to burst at the seams. I’ve been able to contain it for the most part. At least until tonight,” she winked at her friend. “What’s new with you, love?”
“Family is like that it would seem,” She said before she shrugged. “Me, oh nothing, just causing havoc like always.”
“Ugh amazing, I wish I could be wild like you,” she pouted before knocking back the shot in front of her.
“Let’s start dress, obviously that’s the most important thing anyways,” her eyes lit up like a kid’s on christmas morning as she sipped at her glass.
“Obviously,” Caroline said with a laugh, “I haven’t done much looking… It’s still so strange to think about. My Mother really wants it to happen sooner rather than later.”
“Ugh mums can be a drag. You’ve just got to remind her it’s your wedding not hers,” she laughed, sipping her wine again before she looked back up at Caro, “What’s there to wait for?”
She strolled into the pub ahead of him, beelining for a table near the window. “Oh just at the ministry for some old silly man who can hardly lace up his boots let alone run his day,” she smiled, much as she pretended not to, Rosalind loved her job. “What do you do?”
“Then you must be his life saver,” He said as he followed and sat down. “Not much, actually, I own a few shops in Spain, most of my income comes from there.”
“You own your own shops? That sounds quite impressive,” she mused, eyebrows raised in an honest bout of being impressed.Â
“Ugh, I can’t wait for it. So much better than having to figure things out for myself.”
“To each their own, yeah?” Doris said with a small smile.
“I guess,” she shrugged.

rosalind-ab:
“Finally!!” She clapped her hands excitedly, after having been a bitch all day Rosalind really needed to blow off some steam.
“I didn’t know you were back,” She said with a laugh as she served them a drink.
“I’ve been rather quiet since spending the month with my Grandmother. Old bat had me wanting to burst at the seams. I’ve been able to contain it for the most part. At least until tonight,” she winked at her friend. “What’s new with you, love?”
“I was here first and I’m hardly done, tonight was supposed to be fun,” she sighed, leaning back against the bar, “Guess I shouldn’t let a sour sport like you ruin my night.”
“I guess you shouldn’t. You don’t do fun very often, you should make it last.”
“I’m plenty fun!” she protested. “Just because I’m not a loosey goosey doesn’t mean I’m not fun.”
She rolled her eyes, “Have you got anything else to say or are you done sucking up all of the positivity and fun in this room?”
“I’m not stopping you from leaving, darling.”
“I was here first and I’m hardly done, tonight was supposed to be fun,” she sighed, leaning back against the bar, “Guess I shouldn’t let a sour sport like you ruin my night.”
