✧ Hey, folks! This is Rosa, with an update post. ✧ This blog has been around since 2013, and after a decade of inactivity on this platform ‒ I decided to come back and revive it. Tbh, I don't know how many of my mutuals from back then and people who are still following, are still active or remember who I am, but in the unlikely case that some of you are actually reading this, I've got some news. If you're new here, (or simply not interested) and don't know what I'm yapping about ‒ first of all, welcome! Feel free to skip reading this, as I will also share a proper introduction post soon!
Ⅰ. — First of all, I'd like to address my username/blog url change. So, to anyone who noticed and was wondering about it, I will give a quick explanation as to why it changed. I won't mention or refer to the old username anymore, but picking a new one felt somewhat necessary to me, because after all these years, I kind of lost my original connection to it. It no longer felt right to identify myself with it, and that's basically all there is know. My new username is a fun and wonderful nickname that a good friend gave me. Ⅱ. — Probably, the biggest change on this blog, though, was to clear out most of my older posts and reblogs ‒ which honestly, felt freeing and empowering. For some of you, this could come across as drastic, but my reasoning for it, was wanting to have a clean slate and to start fresh by creating a space that will better reflect my interests. But I also wanted to part with content that I no longer agree with, and some things that I don't want to be associated with anymore. I kept some of my originally posted audio/song posts, and a few reblogged ones. Ⅲ. — There is a chance that some of you won't vibe with those changes or this place anymore (which is absolutely fine). Back when I started this blog, I was a nineteen-year-old, undiagnosed neurodivergent person struggling with mental health issues ‒ looking for a place to escape, connect and vent. But ten years have passed since my last post, and a lot has changed for me. I'm now in my thirties, and I developed many new interests ‒ that I want to explore, share and engage with (or new hyperfixations, if you will). So, you may want to figure out for yourself, if this blog is still a place you enjoy and feel comfortable interacting with, or if you want to move on. There should be no shame in leaving behind something that no longer serves you. ⁓
I'm grateful to each and every one of you who decides to stay, though, and am aiming to make this a welcoming place! ♡
