[drops his shoulders, and reaches up to rub the back of his neck] Oh, aha. I take it your from Camp Jupiter, then?
That's correct. You made quite the impression.
The one and only! I take it you’ve heard of me? Probably about how hot I am. You know, literally. Who’re you, my beautiful plant friend?
[arches an eyebrow at the strange compliment] I heard you're the one who blew up my camp a while ago, actually.
Do they … get… high… ? Well their dad does have those fancy shoes of his. [cackles] Really though, anything could happen.
Of course. [smiles at him] So you're Leo?
I have very little need for those of the plant persuasion. I’d try one of the Hermes kids for that one.
Which is why I didn't suspect you. I don't know if the Mercury kids would... do they get high?
"Hey, not condescending, this is really nice." He said, tipping back his bottle once more and then wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "But seriously, how’d you set all this up?"
"Uh huh," Rose muttered, handing him the blunt. "It wasn't hard. My powers allow me to do this stuff easily."
No matter what you hear, just know… I didn’t do it.
You don't seem the type to steal one of my plants, so I believe you.
“Good to know.” He commented, letting her lead him into the forest. When he saw her ‘lair’, he wasn’t sure whether to be amused or impressed. He decided both was good, and gave a slow clap. “Wow. Somebody’s got a lot of free time, huh?”
Rose rolled her eyes. "Could you be anymore condescending? Don't act like you're any better, princess." With a small smile, Rose took another hit of her blunt.
"Depends on the demigod," Rose admitted. "A lot of us have such fucked up lives, we resort to whatever we can to make it better. Demigods aren’t immune to emotions. However, I just do it because it’s fun." Rose took a hit from her blunt immediately after a sip of alcohol....
"There's adult supervision. Easy enough to avoid." Rose assured, grabbing Eli's free hand and pulling him towards the forest. Once in, she lead him to a hidden cove full of marijuana plants. "Welcome to my secret lair."
Anger hissed through the daughter of wisdom and war as her sweet crumbled into the ground; and in spite she absently shoved another cookie into her mouth — whole. Struggling to chew the too large pastry; she made small choking noises before swallowing it. Grey eyes skirted the area, only to snap back to the son of Hades when his cookie also crashed into the floor. “That’s rude, you know that right?” Annabeth stated matter as factually.
Pressure seeped back into her wrist, and once again she was stumbling forward — and for some reason she was having a bit of trouble staying on her own feet. Blonde eyebrows knitted together as she suspected it was the uneven terrain; however, suspicion racked through her chest and her gaze was on the small of that woman’s back at once.
”Why are you leading up to the forest?” There was a pause, her face contorting in confusion. Had she really just said up instead of us. The idea brought a strangled giggle from her lips that ceased just as quickly as it had started. “Why. aha…Why are you leading us into the forest?” Annabeth corrected; eyes narrowing, her body instinctively tensed as she began to suspect the other leading them into a trap.
At least she knew where Nico stood, but she didn’t know this girl whatsoever.
"Why shouldn’t I eat them?” Nico asked, completely confused. He watched vaguely as the camper knocked his cookie out of his hand and it fell to the ground. A surge of anger flashed through him, but it was gone nearly as quickly as it had appeared. It was rude, but he couldn’t blame her if there was a reason.
"Seriously, tell me why but if you don’t think I’m just going to eat another one.” He resisted the urge to stick out his tongue as he reached for his pocket, aiming to take out another cookie. But instead, he found his hand locked in a vice grip. His heart beat sped up uncomfortably. Nico didn’t like being dragged anywhere, especially with people he didn’t know.
"What in the name of the gods do you think you’re doing?” he snapped, trying to pull his arm back. He could have if he really wanted to, but he also didn’t really want to leave Annabeth alone if she was being kidnapped by some crazy daughter of whatever immortal.
Nico was about to echo Annabeth’s question when it seemed like he was suddenly working so much harder to keep up the pace of their walking. His legs didn’t seem to want to do what he told them. So in the best interest of watching where he was looking, Nico gave the unidentified dragger-of-campers a good di Angelo glare. It was the least he could do.
Rose ignored how angry the two were, simply rolling her eyes. "Look-- do you feel strange right now? That might be because you were either drugged or poisoned with those cookies. And if you come with me, I can make sure you don't die."
She kept a tight grip on the others' hands, taking them a little ways into the forest and stopping at a clearing. "Give me a cookie, di Angelo. I'm trying to help you."
Confusion swept through the wise girl as one of the newer campers dragged her along — quite roughly at that. “Rose… Rose right? Whut re yu doing?” Annabeth questioned, her words slurred as she tried to talk around the bits of cookie within her mouth. Eyes of slate turned to the remaining piece of pasty within her hand. Popping the rest of the cookie into her mouth and swallowing so that she could properly speak.
“Look, Could you explain what your doing? I don’t see what has you so ruffled” Annabeth stated, starting on her second pastry. These things weren’t so bad once you got past the strange after taste they left. Something shifted in the corner of her vision and she yanked the other into a full stop. “Is that…Nico?” she mussed softly.
Nico had managed to sleep in for once, and instead of making himself get up for breakfast, he just slept. As such, he missed breakfast. Not only that, but he’s a growing boy and whether he indulges in it often or not, he gets hungry. Lucky for him, one of the satyrs were handing out cookies in the cabins and Nico stocked up. Satyr cookies were generally really good anyway.
As he was munching his way through his third, the others still stuffed in his pockets, he noticed one of the older campers dragging someone along. That was suspicious. Wandering closer, Nico realized that she was dragging Annabeth along. That was even more suspicious.
"What are you doing?” he asked, realizing that his voice sounded odd to his own ears. Putting the rest of the cookie in his mouth, he wiped his hands and gave them a look.
"Stop eating those!" Rose hissed, smacking the cookies out of Annabeth's hand. "Yes, that's Nico, why do you--" irritation flooded throughout Rose's body. "Those stupid goats."
Without hesitating, Rose smacked the cookie from Nico's hand as well. "Do not eat those. Understand?" It was basic knowledge that you don't take any sort of food from strangers. Growing up in shady places taught Rose that. But she didn't think a few mythological creatures would spike some cookies and feed them to children.
With her free hand, Rose gripped Nico's hand and began dragging them both to the forest. "Hey kids, let's go for a hike!" She said loudly, hoping no one would find her suspicious for dragging two others into the forest. "Keep quiet," she whispered. "Don't let go of my hand. I'm serious."
"God damn them," Rose muttered, dragging the proud daughter of Athena by her hand. She felt her own eyes grow sullen and figured she needed to find anyone else affected by the satyrs' idea of a sick joke. She hurried past the cabins, praying that Annabeth wouldn't lose her shit this soon.
"No…its definitely green now….."
"Are you sure you're not looking at the sky?"
"Can anyone explain to me why the lake’s purple?"
"— Somehow I can’t see the twins pulling this off on their own."
"Why is everything purple right now?"
"Well, usually cigarettes, but that works too." He told her. "I didn’t know demi-gods got fucked up." Eli smirked, lighting the blunt and pulling in smoke. He held it for a moment, and passed the blunt back to Rose. "Thanks."
"Depends on the demigod," Rose admitted. "A lot of us have such fucked up lives, we resort to whatever we can to make it better. Demigods aren't immune to emotions. However, I just do it because it's fun." Rose took a hit from her blunt immediately after a sip of alcohol. She passed the blunt back to Eli. "Wanna go somewhere more... private?"
"Well shit, I had no idea." He commented, passing the bottle over. "I guess I’ll have to stop then. Next you’re gonna tell me that smoking kills."
Rose arched an eyebrow. "Depends on what you're smoking." From her pocket she pulled out a blunt and a lighter and handed it to him. "Knock yourself out."
"I definitely need to be not-sober right now. Who’s in?"
"Drinking is bad for you." Rose said, a playful smirk crossing her face. She took the bottle from him and took a long sip.
He’s made praetor, I hear. That’s my boy.
And you, whose brat are you supposed to be? You sound like one of Aphrodite’s girls. Or Venus, as you say.
He certainly deserved it. We needed someone like Frank.
I'm not Venus' daughter. I'm Ceres'.
