The Roseberry Food Forest

I am the founder of The Roseberry Food Forest, a start up permaculture regenerative farm! What will come to be a lush, romantic, tropical food forest filled with: fruits,nuts, veggies, flowers, herbs, events, workshops,camps and more! In addition to my food forest start up I am also a photographer & co founder of Words Photography, fine artist, gardener, & newcomer to fire performance and dance. I am planning to purchase agricultural land and turn it into a lush, tropical, romantic, regenerative AND handicapped accessible food forest. I will hold educational camps, healing and wellness retreats, permaculture courses, intimate private events, concerts and festivals, fundraisers and charity events, flow art retreats, art shows, and much much more! Not only will The Roseberry Food Forest be a multi acre carbon consuming, regenerative, permaculture farm, but it will be a haven for artist and creatives, and all those that are curious or passionate about the regenerative lifestyle. My ultimate goal is to build a place that heals the land and the people. Banana tree debris left over from hurricane Mathew being used to fertilize a newly planted fig tree. Fig tree #plantedforbill - Mollison's work in Permaculture was a huge inspiration for me in many ways. His teachings, writings, books, video lessons, and generations of permaculture students have all profoundly changed and impacted my life on many different levels. His passing was extremely upsetting but Bill Mollison will never truly be gone. He leaves behind a legacy that has the possibility to help transform the world into a beautiful thriving ecosystem for all living beings of the Earth. His dying wish was that people and permaculturist everywhere plant a tree in his honor. So for you Mr. Mollison, I planted my fig tree into the family backyard garden. We fertilized around the base of the fig with oak tree limbs fallen from hurricane Mathew, rotting wood from an old pile of logs, banana tree bits from fallen banana trees (also thanks to hurricane Mathew) also some leaves and smaller sticks. We hope that our fig grows tall and strong as a testament to the profound teachings Bill Mollison leaves behind for us all to cherish. I plan to continue on with my permaculture training so that I may one day pass on his teachings.
