Rules under the cut.

One: I don't follow first unless I know you. I tend to stay writing with those I'm familiar with. That being said, I'll follow back if I think we might click well.

Two: NSFW/Spoilers/Whatever else that needs to be tagged will be tagged. Spoilers for XVI's plot are unlikely to be tagged at this point -- unless it's up to date content.

Three: My writing lengths vary. Longer threads take longer to reply to. I'm consistently slow. Reminders aren't needed and I might say something if they become excessive, so I'd prefer if they were avoided all together unless I specifically ask if I owe anything I might of missed.

Four: I’ll write Anabella in any timeline, be it an AU or canon divergent plot, as well as time during the game. I really love plotting and throwing ideas around. Feel free to shoot me an IM / hit me up on discord if you have me added there.

Five: Mains & exclusives are things I’m happy to set up, provided we click. However, I don’t tend to do exclusives with same cast muses. Shipping exclusivity is fine though!

Six: Shipping is a-okay, though with Anabella's nature, things are likely to lean on the more toxic side. More importantly, I don't intend to or acknowledge Elwin and Anabella's marriage past a certain point, for obvious reasons. I don't ship that, don't vibe with it, whatever. Any possible ships here would have to be discussed/plotted beforehand.

Seven: I'm here to have fun, and flesh out a character that I both strongly dislike and think deserved better writing. Hopefully I can provide that!!

Interesting to think abt but like Anabella was literally 19 when she had Clive

which means Anabella was married very young and that's wild to think about ( even if times were different )

Like sorta related but someone at my job is 18 and engaged which just puts things into perspective about how those things being so common now are just for lack of better words.. kinda shocking

Thinking abt things and the people we see in her time in Rosaria, we see and meet people who are basically against how Anabella goes about things. Her values are instilled in her... but we never get to meet the people who caused that. They just Exist or have existed. If they're gone, then that says a whole lot about Anabella because nobody (presumably) who agrees with her upbringing is around to hold her too it. Only she does that to herself

If she really decided to trust in Elwin's way of overseeing things, nobody would bat an eye. They'd probably welcome it.

thinking abt how anabella would fit into a xiv verse has me thinking abt other stuff like

just how much did ultima really influence her vs her own beliefs

mostly bc in a xiv setting, i could see her being tempered ( it's what she deserves )

i was going to play xvi but then i went out and did irl stuff and that exhausted me enough into laziness so have this food for thought

if clive had taken joshua's power so much earlier in front of anabella that would be a whole 'nother level of messy and drama lol like thinking abt it as some AU or smth :)

I'm not gonna lie, unrelated to Anabella but more abt FFXVI

Without the easy mode items to equip, I'm ngl XVI's combat is kinda brutal and I love that ( even if I'm not that great at it LOL )

It's wild how Anabella seems to put Elwin on a pedestal when it comes to his status and yet

her lack of respect for him shows throughout the demo if you really dig into it. Like how she dictates (either directly or indirectly) how Clive is to behave towards Elwin when she is around.

this blog is a year old as of today? LMAO this is wild and reflecting on it, making anabella my muse was such a funny choice because i never expected she'd probably be my most developed/thought about muse in a long while

just remember as hard as it to picture: if joshua never awakened or even had been born anyway and clive awakened instead, anabella would have treated joshua the same way. actually, given how sickly joshua was at the time, i feel like his treatment would be worse.
