My friends and I have this au idea where our versions of Henry, William and Michael all meet up somehow. I adore it!! I decided to throw the actual good father and person William from my timetravel/alternate universe in there lol. He would honestly be horrified by the other William’s lol and try to adopt all the Michael's to their dismay.
I feel like the Michael's would all relate to eachother and easily be able to team up tho lol. You know they would get stuff done (either that or I could see it being the exact opposite LMAO). Many Mike’s is either very productive or such a bad idea.
I have no idea how all the Henry’s would react lol but they would definitely share a hatred for William, but also all the Mike's are immediately finding out Henry and William had a thing if you ship Willry loke my friends and I do. It's that awkward energy of my ex has done horrible things and I hate him but also idk how to feel.
I want to just have them all in a large house or hotel LMAO so they are forced to deal with eachother. Put the blorbos in a room and see what happens type of au.
Gotta tag them I think lol to witness my yapping.
@geekcentre @just-bee-lieve @roselees
The fnaf fic authors got the Michael's, Henry's and William's together for the world's most murderous season of Big Brother yet <33
(Whats the collective noun for all of them. A murder of William's, or smth.)
Thinking thoughts about Willry parallels again. How neither of them can handle confrontation unless they're at the forefront of it, but in just slightly different ways. William needs to be the ringleader because it makes him feel powerful. He needs those ego trips, because it's the kind of man he is. He has to feel like the smartest person in the room at any given time. While Henry can dish it out, but he can't take it. Any confrontation is done on his terms. Sure, you might argue the pizzeria sim fire is the ultimate form of confrontation BUT it only happens because Henry knows he's the brains behind the operation. It's pre-planned. It's borderline scripted. He can't be involved if he doesn't know how it ends, because as much as he'd loathe to admit it, perhaps he was never so different from his former partner as he might have claimed.
Thank you, dashboard, for doing the funniest thing
conventionally attractive aroace man who grew up in the 60s and 70s so there's even more pressure and expectation to be in a relationship but when he tries it blows up in his face and he's miserable the entire time send post
there is no group of people i relate to less than people who hate it when their favourite characters do awful things. i see my favs upholding violent cycles and relapsing and turning into the people who hurt them and do a backflip out of sheer excitement
Thinking about @roselees post about Michael playing dnd admist the satanic panic in the US. Somehow I watched a video essay that touched on this time period and I had no idea it was bad to the extent it became almost a modern witch hunt. Also the whole troubled teen industry being really prominent in Utah specifically at that time is interesting to think about (which is a horrible industry that needs to be dismantled completely). The problem of being a humanities major is wanting to examine structural flaws in the US in the 80s and apply it to my fics lol. The time that Michael grew up in explains a lot of how and why William could have gotten away with what he did.
This post is now me rambling a bit incoherently but my sibling and I had a fic idea that would examine law enforcement in 1980s Utah up to the time of pizza sim. Basically an older detective examines the MCI which has become a cold case after Henry is released from prison (and starts to peice together everything that happened including the bite of 83 and Charlie's death). Mostly it's an outsiders perspective and a realization that the system is broken. William should have been caught, but the system failed at every turn. Michael, his siblings and all of the other children should have been protected but they weren't. Freddy's should have been completely shut down after what happened to cc but it wasn't (and if not that then especially after Charlie and when kids started disappearing).
A small town like Hurricane in Utah was not equipped to deal with what happened, especially in the 80s. Everything failed on a systemic level so spectacularly that William not only got away with what he did, but he could just fade into obscurity with a fake name and persona that probably didn't actually fool anyone. So the detective character has to realize that this case isn't really cold. It's pretty obvious what happened, but no one seems to care or has the resources to handle this case properly.
That's why fnaf is extremely tragic to me as well. Someone like Michael or even Henry shouldn't have to stop William and bring him to justice, but often times traditional justice fails you. I'm sure for Henry especially that he eventually became disillusioned as the years dragged on, and realized he'd have to do everything himself if he wanted answers.
That was so much yapping but I need to write a fic actually exploring these ideas because this is what an interest in history and forensic science/investigation does to you lol.
The bit about the troubled teen industry... I'm looking between that and Michael right now and contemplating if I should put him once again in the torment nexus.. that would be so sick and twisted but so on brand for William because he presents this front of the 'perfect' family to the rest of Hurricane so if Michael acts out in a way he can no longer brush under the rug (*cough cough* the bite of 83) then, well.. of *course* he'd set the precedent by sending him to be 'fixed', and he sure as shit wouldn't care that the industry is as messed up as it is.
Utah is a death penalty state. Thinking thoughts about this.
Fic where the ffps fire occurs at least partially because Henry had the blame pinned on him and was only just released from death row for crimes he didn’t actually commit?? It's more likely than you think
Mike played DND during the Satanic Panic in the 80s and he was mildly amused by *that* being the thing people were concerned about and not the fact he was a LITERAL walking corpse, send post
Fnaf 3 AU where both Henry and Michael turn up to work the night shift at Fazbear Frights. Gonna be the world's most awkward family reunion.
Me and my friend playing FNAF Sister Location co-op is going REAL well guys
Me: Uhhhh... to the left. [Funtime Foxy fucking teleports across the room]. Fuck, no, wait-- step to the riGHT.
My friend: .. take it back now ya'll?
Me, barely holding back laughter: ✨ One hop this time. ✨
you know what, i actually like the absence of mrs afton from the story. it's ominous, i think not knowing what the hell happened there is worse than knowing for sure.
@just-bee-lieve @roselees what we were talking about lol
I've often thought about my version of Jeremike in hcs and aus.
They meet in high school right after CC dies, and Jeremy is the one to help Michael out of the dark hole that has become his life. It's an instant attraction that develops into a deep, almost fairytale like love.
Deep down, Michael knows this will all end badly. He doesn't want to believe that it will, especially when Jeremy finally convinces him to get away from William. But they are so deeply in love, and William see's a life he could have had with Henry. A life where he was unabashedly himself and loved instead of hated.
For William, it's infuriating that Michael gets to have that. He tried to contort and shape Michael into a cold, twisted man just like himself. A man who denies himself everything. Yet, Michael allows himself to be vulnerable with Jeremy. This young, emotional and kind boy that William all but beat out of him is still there, despite everything.
So something breaks inside Michael when Jeremy dies (in my hc he dies young because of the bite, and Michael dedicates whatever is left of his life to stop William). William is gleeful. Despite the fact that Michael hates him, he's obsessive in that hatred (just like Henry is in the end). These people who should have loved him do not, but any kind of attention is good in William’s mind. Even better for William that his actions have changed Henry and Michael so fundamentally that they hardly interact with one another (maybe even hate one another). They can focus more on William instead.
So it's very interesting that William has taken (directly and perhaps more indirectly in Jeremy's case) the two most important people from both Henry and Michael. That the death of these people justify the hatred William inspires in them, even though neither Charlie or Jeremy would recognize the person Michael or Henry become in pizza sim.
This has gotten a bit off topic but there is something so tragic in the different fandom interpretations of Michael and Jeremy's relationship. Especially since William is at the rotten heart of all this tragedy.
William heard 'any press is good press' and took that to heart, I fear. Jeremike as a parallel to Willry in how they inevitably end in tragedy you will always be real to me
they are so unserious
This is taking me out, and if I have to see it, so do ya'll... @bisqitsforbreakfast is DIABOLICAL for this
(Bonus points if the first thing William said when he saw him in the fit is some variant of 'you look like bob the fuckin' builder' and spent about twenty minutes cackling to himself in Parts and Services after making a 'can he fix it??' joke after Henry announced that Fredbear is on the fritz again.
... yes I'm coping with the fnaf drought really well why do you ask :))
working on a fic about a reluctantly remnant fuelled Henry trying (and failing) to track William down over the years spanning from the beginning of the timeline (Charlotte's death) right the way to security breach and damn. Damn, these two are messed up no matter the universe. toxic AND doomed in equal measure. No one is doing it like Willry
henry tells michael he's just like his father every time he's angry with him send post
