Chapter 3: Logan

AN: wow you guys really like this au… I was struggling with this one in the beginning but once I got going this somehow became the longest chapter??? Also, I’m trying to keep up with the taglist, but sometimes reblogs and comments get lost in between all of the other notes the chapters get. So, the best way to make sure you get added to the taglist is to send me an ask or pm!! Don’t be shy, it’s not bother! I’m still a little shook people like my writing this much tbh.

summary: Roman and Logan talk, the sides have lunch- oh, look, somehow angst.

Logan hadn’t been able to get much sleep that night.

He waited at least half an hour after Virgil had left before returning to his room, not wanting to chance being discovered by the side in question. The logical side was restless, thoughts flashing through his mind as he pondered his discovery.

“Keeping things organized sometimes helps me not be anxious, Logan.”

Virgil’s eyes sometimes not quite meeting the rest of the sides’, just slightly off in any direction.

All the times Virgil hadn’t paid attention to facial expressions or glares directed at him until they were announced (if they were announced at all).

Surprise on the anxious side’s face when one of the others didn’t announce their presence.

And Logan had never seen Virgil read a book in front of him either, even though Virgil himself had confessed to reading quite a few works of literature, among other novels.

He would have to confront Virgil about it, obviously. But before that, another conversation was in order.

i love when i make my simple aus but they end up being so much more

i’m working on a theatre au where janus is the director, logan’s the dramaturg, virgil’s the techie, roman’s playing the hero, remus is playing the villain and patton’s the love interest

the main focusses are gonna be royality and analogical where we have like one of those “actors playing characters in love actually fall in love during proudction” stories and then a more hidden romance where virgil hides away from everyone in the tech booth but he lets logan visit for the kisses

and roman and virgil are roommates so roman can tell what’s going on and if roman knows remus knows so remus just keeps bothering logan about it while he’s trying to correct him on the delivery of his lines

without spoilers (lol) there’s basically a part where patton faints on stage and virgil actually comes down onto the stage for once n gives him water then scurries away like some gremlin and patton’s like “mm i wanna know mystery boy” so now roman’s on a mission to get virgil to join them for lunch break but it takes a lot of effort and persuasion

meanwhile janus just wants this production to go smoothly but everyone keeps falling in love n then when remus starts openly flirting with him he’s like goddammit

edit: i also wanna add that logan and remus are gonna be roommates so logan can call roman and just open up with “have you ever imagined killing your brother?”

Remus having bursts of manic energy when Thomas is upset, because he’s dark creativity and when your mood is dark your ideas tend to lean that way? If that makes sense?

Virgil pulling Roman back With Purpose when the rest of the group disperses and Roman’s like “oh god this will either end with us making out or him killing me”

Logan! Likes! Biking!

Roman having days, when Thomas’ motivation is low, where he’s just listless and spacey and the others are like what the HECK do we do

the other sides (usually Logan and/or Virgil in these mini story scenarios) just chillin and Roman rises up, injured, and he’s just like ‘hey uh. I need some help.’ and then he’s out cold and the others are like ‘oh god oh fu-’

I’ll admit that ones usually angstier in my head but I’m trying to keep this lighthearted

Roman likes Virgil’s voice. No I will not elaborate thank you goodnight
