Social Stretch Quest

It being the busiest time of the year it’s hard to take time off and relax for a bit. I spent sometime hanging out with old friends, going out to the bar and out for a coffee. Having the time to relax and unwind for a bit helped to put me back on track with schoolwork. Being able to balance your social, work and school life is incredibly important and unfortunately I forget to go out and enjoy myself!!

Curiosity Conversation

I work at the Anthropologie in Chinook Centre so every time I work I meet new people. The other day I started a conversation with this woman and we go to talking about what I study and she was super interested in it. She told me that her and her husband are entrepreneurs and have a lot of connections in that field. We decided to meet up again so she took my number and we stayed in touch. We went out for coffee the other day to get to know each other a little better and to see if she could help me get in contact with potential clients. It’s always awesome to meet people that you click with and who can help you on your journey!!!!

Stretch Quest: Physical

Physical activity has so many more benefits than just getting you into shape. Whenever I work out I instantly feel happier and more energetic. This time of year is so stressful and it’s easy to take it out on your body but regular exercise can help you to improve your sleep, mood and provides a much needed energy boost.

As a university student it is easy to forget about the importance of exercise and the health of our body and minds but it is this time that we really need to put an emphasis our health.

Stretch Quest: Mental

For someone who loves travelling I HATE flying. Everything about it gives me anxiety from security, to filling out customs forms, to collecting your baggage on the other side. I was lucky enough to have a little break from this stressful semester and visit my cousins in America. We left at 3am on Thursday morning and it was almost instantly that my tummy began to squirm. BUT I managed to push through it without a complete breakdown ... GO ME
