🌻The Happy Sunflower🌻

Summer has finally begun! Since the season has arrived, I thought a nice drawing of a smiling sunflower cute! 🌻

I was looking up pictures of the summer flowers to see which ones I wanted to draw. It was until I see the pics of sunflowers, which I nearly forgot sunflowers are the part of the summer flowers lol. They are pretty flowers. In fact, we have one trying to grow right now!

Just to make this art piece look cute, how about a happy face on a sunflower? I'm sure the little flower would like that! ^^

As June will be a busy month for me, I might look into finishing up this sketchbook with the artworks used with crayons before in the future getting some of the new crayons and another sketchbook to draw with. Hopefully it'll be early, as I might say, it probably will be. If not due to something going on for busy, then I'll probably finish it early July.

This was done earlier today. I did use the Crayola 24-pack pastel crayons that I got last month. I did get them because I wanted to make sure I get it in the collection. I do plan on getting the Crayola Crayon Tub 168-pack in the future after completing the sketchbook. It includes all different kinds of the colors in the collection, except Neon, which I thought they were included to. Might as well get the 24-pack Neon crayons while the store has them.

I also used some of the jumbo pack in this artwork too, just to simply use them as much as possible before getting new ones.

Looks like the weather this season might get a lot of heat, but I'm sure the summer will be as fun! And hopefully the sunflowers grow really well! 🌻

Spring Flowers

Since spring will be over soon by next week, I figured I display this artwork of the spring flowers before summer starts.

I don't remember when I started this art piece but I think it was around March or April(?).

I hadn't gotten around to finish this because I was busy with other artworks and I needed my energy to ease up from the heat. I never got a chance to even finish this last month.

Just as I was about draw, I was thinking about the Soho Studio sketch pad, and this art I hadn't even finished. Today, I had an opportunity to finish coloring this artwork before next week when summer begins. This was done earlier around the late afternoon.

I couldn't remember if I used Crayola or Cra-Z-Art colored pencils for the flowers, I think it was the Cra-Z-Art colored pencils, I would assume. Well, I used them today to color, along with the Soho Studio colored pencils as well.

I would like to draw more on the Soho Studio sketch pad more often and hopefully to finish sooner. I'd say before 2027 begins. If so, then I might as well hussle on finishing up the sketch pad before the new year!

Elf Princess Portrait

A simple drawing I did Saturday on my sketchbook. A portrait of the elf princess, which I decided to draw after I was trying to think of what to draw until this drawing.

I still had the Crayola silly scented colored pencils. It was since 2021 when I first got them. It's been awhile since using them, I don't know or remember when was the last time I used them. I only used four of them for this artwork, while using the other Crayola colored pencils and the Cra-Z-Art colored pencils when completing this art.

I used the black colored pencil to redraw the lines to make sure they are visible. The Crayola silly scented black colored pencil is the one I used to do that, then right after I was finished, I happen to use the regular Crayola colored pencil to make sure the lines are visible, and now it was finished. Well, today I was coloring this some more.

To be honest, she looks absolutely gorgeous ^w^! The hair is what I'm impressed more. ^^

Landscape of Trees

Heyo. Just another artwork I have drawn. I just finished it yesterday. Basically it's just a landscape full of evergreen trees and green mountains.

I know I colored some of the trees blue-green. I mean, the color does fall between the blue and green, so I figured why not color some of the trees blue-green? ^^

I got another pack of crayons today, and it's the Crayola pastel colors. I did not use them today, but I will soon for another artwork.

Now, last July, I bought the 16-pack of the washable Crayola crayons, which is what I'll be using after finishing up this sketchbook before getting a new one for the crayon artworks. I am currently using the 8-pack right now. When I do finish this sketchbook, and if the tips from the 8-pack are still usable, maybe I can color with them on a Kpop Demon Hunters Crayola coloring book I got two weeks ago ^^.

Speaking of coloring books, I know I may be too old for coloring books. Heck, I even have coloring books for adults, and the Grimm's Fairy Tales coloring book I had for awhile. I first had it at a young age, around twelve years old. I had two of the Disney Color & Play coloring books, and some activity books I had years ago.

That was until this year I got Kpop Demon Hunters Crayola coloring book, which came with the stickers (which I placed two of them on my computer to decorate.) :)

Since the movie became my favorite, I decided why not have a coloring book of my favorite movie? :)

Besides the 16-pack of the washable crayons, I also bought the second pack of the 16 Crayola jumbo crayons after the first pack, which the yellow color's tip was broken. So I gave the second pack to my niece, which I used some to draw with when we were drawing together :). I'll wait a bit longer to get another pack of the 16 jumbo crayons.

Anyways, that's it. Just a simple drawing I did ^^.

I know I messed up on the signature (which was the date). But, it'll do ^^;.

Neon Nighttime Field

Heyo! Here is another neon art I started doing again since November. I drew this last Tuesday, and it's basically just the fields during the night with the moon and the stars ^^. I'm not sure if it's exactly neon because of the fully colored grass, but I'm pretty sure you can tell by the white lines to make it look like neon lol. It is actually neon, just the fully colored grass ^^.

It's been awhile since I drew some neon art. I hadn't used the black sketch pad since last year. The last time was last November. I hadn't displayed that one because of hiatus and was busy. Maybe I'll get that posted either when September comes, which is the beginning of fall, or when October or November arrives. Either way when the fall season comes .

I have been getting new Crayola stuff lately. It's perhaps because I love using the Crayola products so much and became my favorite products ever ^^. It went from the colored pencils, to new crayons and to new markers, and to new colored pencils, and so it goes ^^;. Pretty much I have the majority of the Crayola art supplies ^^.

I recently used the Crayola Bold & Bright markers that works for light and dark paper for this art piece. They are the ones I got two weeks ago along with the swirl pencils. I first used the white Crayola jumbo white crayon, which doesn't work well on this piece of black paper. I mean, I'll manage. I'll probably use it for details. Same goes for any white crayons and white colored pencils.

After that, I used the white Crayola Bold & Bright marker. When I started drawing with it, it all appears on the black paper like magic! It was pretty cool to use! It was until I started to use the green colors, and it wasn't appearing as it would on black paper. So I ended up using the Uni POSCA markers for the grass. I'll probably do another artwork on white paper using the Bold & Bright markers. Also used the POSCA markers for the moon and the stars.

It's also been awhile since using Uni POSCA markers ^^;. Plus, I hadn't been getting new ones, but I can probably do so if some of them aren't working and/or if the tips are getting dry.

Anyways, that's basically the neon artwork I did since it's been awhile doing neon art stuff ^^.

Artwork of My Dog Snowflake

Here is the artwork of my dog Snowflake. ❤️

I originally wasn't going to draw yesterday. But I was thinking about it after awhile. Well, probably way before yesterday when thinking about drawing her. I hadn't had a chance to do so until last night.

It turned out really well. I hadn't drawn dogs in a while, it is challenging to draw a dog. I might've done really well on the fur, eyes, and nose. Had to do some editing earlier.

Snowflake has been doing well and has been doing good, just sometimes barks non-stop at times. Though, she is still a good dog. ❤️

Drawing dogs shouldn't be too hard once I practice the fur. Maybe soon, I could do more practices on drawing dogs eventually since dogs are my favorite animals. ^^

Tifa -- Coffee

It's Friday once again! Here is another FFVII fanart of Tifa with a cup of coffee to go. Nothing like a nice, hot coffee after all the martial arts skills! ^^

I was having such a hard time drawing her. It didn't turn out good from the first one. After erasing and redrawing and editing multiple times, I had to redo it again. It was turning fine until I had to do something about Tifa's arm. I went to erase and redraw again before I did the rest and colored it. Now it turned out good. Not really much, but it'll pretty much do. ^^

Today was a pretty busy day for me. Did this artwork almost all day until I got finished was earlier. Now I can take it easy for the day. ^^

Rose LaBelle -- Magenta Dress

Hey y'all! I'm back with another art! It's another Rose LaBelle artwork I have done yesterday ^^.

I did draw this on another sketchbook, which I got from Five Below in 2023 around November. Since I got so many sketchbooks, I decided what I might do with them, so that it wouldn't be that hard which one to choose lol. Well, I'm still going to be using the other sketchbook I got last July for artworks using crayons. I might go with finishing the one sketchbook I got in December of 2022 (which I hadn't used until August of 2023). That way it wouldn't be hard to choose. I did have a sketchbook before December. It was the one I got for my birthday during 2022. It was finished, although my art style still needed work at that time.

Since I couldn't think of what Rose LaBelle artwork to draw, I basically gave her a random dress in a color of magenta ^^.

Now that this artwork is finished, I can save this sketchbook until I finish the one I got from December of 2022. ^^

Totoro -- Spring Flowers

Here is the Studio Ghibli fanart I ever done in awhile. I probably started this about months ago, since I hadn't really used this sketchbook a lot. When I was thinking about my sketchbook yesterday before drawing, I even FORGOT I was doing this Totoro fanart lol. So I decided to continue on this artwork.

I had watched My Neighbor Totoro earlier today before continuing this artwork and finished it. Basically it's Totoro in the fields of the flowers during spring ^w^. The flowers are the Japanese flowers. I looked them up before continuing this artwork to see what kind I should draw. I did the best I could on them ^^;. They still looked really good!

It's been awhile since watching any Studio Ghibli movies. At my teenage years, I started to get into Studio Ghibli, and collected the Blu-rays of every one of them. Well... almost. Actually, last year in the summer, I watched When Marnie Was There. That was pretty much it. About couple of years ago, I probably watched Earwig and the Witch during the Halloween season, which was the last movie I got on Blu-ray for Christmas in 2022 before I hadn't really gotten more of the Studio Ghibli movies since). Basically it wasn't really much, I've been doing other stuff.

After finishing, I was having trouble with the formatting. Since it's a sketchbook, it's hard to format perfectly. I closed the sketchbook and waited after dinner to see if it's flattened enough for cropping the photo to format.

Back in 2024 at the outside mall right before Thanksgiving break began, I got a Totoro necklace at BoxLunch, which I wore today. It was really cute! I also got Spirited Away graphite pencils last December at Barnes N' Noble at the same mall. I started to use them since for drawing, but not much, until now when continuing to use them. Basically, it's pretty much getting me back into Studio Ghibli a lot.

Studio Ghibli was an inspiration to me and more ^^. The stories, the art style, the music, everything! Back in my youth, I didn't know Studio Ghibli even existed. I probably saw the trailer of the DVDs back then. I didn't even know what Studio Ghibli is until at my teens when I looked at the movies. That inspired me more into art and made me feel more confident in entertainment. I just love those movies so much! ^^

Just a quiet, busy day ^^. I got a frappe this morning and got started on this artwork. I did struggle until I manage to finish it.

9x7 -- Coffee

Eventually, I have started to draw some 9 stuff again! I wasn't doing much of it, except the giftarts I did, and the anniversary ones I did as well. Now, I finally drew another 9 fanart once again ^^!

I took this photo after breakfast this morning, deciding to draw both 9 and 7 with my coffee ❤️.

This is mostly based on the technique style of combination with photo and art by my friend JgalDragonborn on DeviantArt. I know I did my first one around September of 2023. It turned out really good for a start of combination with art and photo. Couple of years now, I got back to it. It turned out really good ^^. Just had to do another 9x7 art :).

This is actually a Valentine's Day coffee cup I got in February two years ago. However, the pink color and the heart design became my favorite cup because of the color and I love the shape of a heart, hehe ^^. I started using this cup for my coffee every morning :). I also used it for hot chocolate two years ago as well ^^.

For this combination of art and photo, I think it turned out good after finishing it! ^^

When Trying to Think of What to Draw

I'm back once again! This artwork is based on how I try to draw something when it comes to thinking of what to draw.

This art was originally going to be about what I do on my computer while drawing, but since I was trying to think as soon as I finished on how it looked, thinking if it's enough. Well, I almost gave up, until I went from that to doing this instead.

It took me a bit to finish this, but I got it done. So yeah, basically this is how I try to think what to draw, and often struggling. ^^;

I might redraw this when I have the time to do so.

Destiny Between Light and Darkness

Hello, everyone! Here is the FFVII Ever Crisis fanart with Aerith and Sephiroth in their 2.5 anniversary outfits! ❤️

Aerith's outfit was REALLY HARD to draw 0_0. I was doing my best to get everything right. Well, I had some that are correct, some I struggled with. I did my best, anyway. I was originally going to include her new staff that goes with the outfit, but being afraid I wouldn't get this artwork finished on time, and plus, the design might be a struggle. With the outfit I drew that would be difficult, I decided not to include her staff.

Honestly, I really love her dress for the half anniversary! The design is gorgeous, the hair, everything else! But most of all, I LOVE Sephiroth's outfit for the half anniversary! Some folks say that the new outfit of his makes him look like a vampire. I might say... it kinda does make him look like a vampire in that outfit, to be honest ^^. Some folks also said he looked like a victorian-like man, which I think it kinda does make him look like it, too ^^. I also love how slicked back his right hair mane is ^^.

It was just the cape, his sleeve, glove and hair (and face, too, which is simple enough) I drew. It was due to me thinking of what pose I wanted to do. Hopefully next time I do another art piece of him, I'll draw him in that outfit again in whatever kind of artwork I might do.

In fact, this artwork took me awhile to do. I've taken some breaks to relax before getting back to it. And so, here it is!

Anyways, The Battle for the Planet event was so much fun! It was an absolute blast! The story was absolutely beautiful that I had to replay it, which was about three days ago ^^. I honestly really enjoyed the event! I wanted to draw this after finishing up the story and everything I got done during the event. I know the 2.5 anniversary is over now, and I wanted to get this done before it was over, but all the hiatus and tiredness after doing everything else just consumed my time for it. That is why three days ago, I wanted to replay the story when there was hours left.

Anyways, that's all I have to say for now!

Last night, I was almost out of luck of drawing anything for Easter. Almost skipping the artwork, because I couldn't think of anything. That was until I drew this. It's not much, but at least it's all cheerful in this art piece ^^. I'm happy with how it turned out! ^^

Here we got Rose LaBelle in a bunny dress, out in the nice, warm spring weather ❤️

For this holiday, I planned on making a cake. Something nice and Easter themed for this day ^^.

Rose LaBelle -- New Hair Color

Since I had my hair pink yesterday, I had my OC's hair changed to pink! 🩷

So here is Rose LaBelle now with her hair all pink! ^^

I have drawn this... actually back when before I decided to have my hair pink. Here's the explanation to this.

This artwork was drawn in January of this year, with the original color of Rose's hair, when I was going to do the new Meet the Artist art piece. I never got any chance to do the Meet the Artist thing because of how busy I was and letting my energy taking it easy for me to draw. I hadn't done anything with this since while I was doing other artworks I was working on. I was drawing the other artwork with her hair pink before coming to this one. I was having a hard time with how it was going to go. It was until I was thinking about this one that was originally going to be for the new Meet the Artist thing. That's when I decided to go with this once instead. Had Rose's hair all pink, did some editing and voila!

She actually looks cute with pink hair! ^^

One the best fitting for her character! ^^

I'll probably do the Meet the Artist either in the middle or later this year, or probably when 2027 comes.

Gentle Snowfall

Heyo!

This was originally going to be up by tomorrow but eagerly wanted to do it now just to remember the moment Monday during the trip, just as decided to head to the area where there would be some snow just before heading home. Yes, it's March, I know winter would be over. However, it does have a surprise with the extra snowy weather at times ^^

This is the artwork of my OC Rose LaBelle during the snowfall. This is heavily inspired by the day I got to see real snow for the first time in my whole life. This artwork IS based on when the snowfall happened, hehe ^^.

I was drawing the other version yesterday, but the original didn't turned out too good, and struggling with the outfit before finding, so I went and drew this version, which I am happy with this one.

I had my wish of seeing snow come true! ❄️

During all those times in years when going on vacation, I had no luck. I was missing those chances of seeing snow. Mostly ended up waiting for next or following winter days. There was going to be some snow flurries two months ago, but I had no luck either when checking the front yard.

Monday was the day, which was the day when we were heading home from vacation, that I wasn't EXPECTING to see a full snowy weather. After all those years, I've finally got to see it! Upon stopping at a plaza, it was really starting to come down. I got really excited! Minutes later, there it was! It was fully snowing. Stayed in the car for a bit until seeing the grass getting covered by the snow, and the car was getting covered by the snow. It was an exciting moment! We were all outside just watching the snowfall and seeing the grass being covered by snow. I picked up a couple of snow from the ground lol.

As heading to lunch, snow was everywhere. Grass, roofs, trees, etc.

I had photos of them just for the memories of my first snow experience! ❄️

It was really a fun day AND the best day ever! ❄️

Forgot to mention, I did go to the snow park during Christmas season back in 2019, and it was fun! I acted like it was real snow lol. So technically that would count as seeing snow, I think? Well, I am happy that I got to see real snow, as I also enjoyed the snow park in 2019 ^^.
