God DAMN, Morty
“but the world won’t give people like us hugs”
I was surprised to see Rick quickly regretting his choice of words after he saw Morty run away. Even he knows what he said to Morty was very out of line, knowing it hit on a bit too personal spot for Morty.
It is a subtle moment that shows he says cruel things without thinking. It reminds me of how he yelled at Summer back in the episode ¨Air Force Wong¨ and then quietly apologized for it.
I think Rick is capable of changing like we have shown in the past but he is still stuck in old habits of lashing out, giving the idea that he is in a fight with his own self.
I have said it before that something huge probably needs to happen to be his wake up call, because if not, he is going to keep doing similar things to Morty and others.
Morty enjoys this wayyy too much #puppyboy
Never thought we would get to see Snowball again
Im frothing from the mouth he was so cute this episode oh my god thats my son
I was wondering why I've been seeing a lot of girlbloggers in the Rick and Morty tag recently, but then it hit me: Rick is pretty much the archetype that Lana Del Rey sings about.
IT‘S MY FAVORITE THING IN THE WORLD WHEN THEY‘RE JUST TWO SILLY GIRLS

It's still you.
I feel so bad for Rick :( hates himself so much, carries so much internalized shame from the trauma that was inflicted on him but it‘s even SO MUCH MORE COMPLEX because it was a version of HIMSELF that ruined his life and I just can‘t stop thinking about the layer that adds to everything. He never wanted this life 😭 and he thinks his intelligence is what makes him so depressed and while yes, that would definitely add to it, we saw that Ted was actually super smart himself. He built a spaceship! He was intelligent and it didn‘t hold him back from connecting with people and having fun, because what it actually comes down to is trauma. Ted didn‘t have all the memories Rick has and that‘s why he was happy, not because he was less smart :(
"If I were just... a little bit smarter… I could figure it out…"
