I am so in love with you. As days go by, the way I see you changes. You've gone from wonderful to remarkable, from a fellow human, to a friend, to a lover, and currently to a mystery; a next step I am not familiar with... a love I haven't known. Sometimes I am overwhelmed with what I feel when I am looking at you, hearing you, being near you. I must relax and accept the blessing that it is, and let in all the Light that you are, that we are, that I am. Together.

It all matters
“It all matters. That someone turns out the lamp, picks up the windblown wrapper, says hello to the invalid, pays at the unattended lot, listens to the repeated tale, folds the abandoned laundry, plays the game fairly, tells the story honestly, acknowledges help, gives credit, says good night, resists temptation, wipes the counter, waits at the yellow, makes the bed, tips the maid, remembers the illness, congratulates the victor, accepts the consequences, takes a stand, steps up, offers a hand, goes first, goes last, chooses the small portion, teaches the child, tends to the dying, comforts the grieving, removes the splinter, wipes the tear, directs the lost, touches the lonely, is the whole thing. What is most beautiful is least acknowledged. What is worth dying for is barely noticed.”
— Laura McBride, We Are Called to Rise (Published June 3rd 2014 by Simon & Schuster)
“I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (I’m not a big one for paying compliments…), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter…”
— Jonathan Carroll
Can you relate?
You know those days, they only come occasionally, where you feel in limbo! You almost feel in a frozen state. You’re moving and doing and the world is the same, but something within you feels still and paused.
“That’s what careless words do. They make people love you a little less.”
— Arundhati Roy
“I made up my mind that I’d get out of that place and I did…I learned that if you want to get somewhere, you just make up your mind and work like hell til you get there. If you want to go somewhere in life, you just have to work till you make it.”
— S.E. Hinton
