It could be worse, no?

Hmm, well this is quite the predicament.
It could be worse, no?
I have indeed had the shrimp. How about I give you the recipe? I’m sure I can bribe someone to get it for you.
Really? You would do that for me? If you could maybe get a list of everything served here tonight. I would ask about what kind of champagne this is too but I could probably never afford it.
Henry scrunched up his face at the shrimp dancing right at his face, even it he couldn’t quite hide his grin. “I don’t get how making it have a voice will make it more appealing. Please, take it all.”
He looked down to the tiny blond, tilting his head in question. “Of course. But I’ll have to tell you if it’s about your dress, you’re probably going to get the same response about you looking lovely and perfectly fine.”
"It works on children all the time, even the really picky ones!" She made a face at him before taking a bite of the shrimp. "Besides, voices can make a lot of things more appealing, especially if they sing. It's science."
Rosie looked at Henry, smiling sweetly to him. "Thank you so much, although it isn't that." She shrugged. "Do you... Do you think I can be a bad person? Even if it's just at times... or around certain people. Do you think that I'm unfair?"
Declan paused still feeling the side of his tongue hurt. “Nope, it’s still there.” he frowned and he loved food, so not being able to taste in all it’s glory was disappointing.
Rosie smiled sympathetically to the other. "I'm sure a drink would cool down your tongue, and next time blow on something if you see steam coming off of it. I suggest trying one of everything as well."
"Um no thanks. I’m not really a big fan of shrimp."
"But I'm so delicious Henry." Rosie waved the shrimp around for a moment, making a weird voice. How is he not embarrassed to be seen with her? Who knows. She grins and dips it into the sauce. "More for me."
The blonde pauses and stares down at her plate before back to her friend. "Can I ask you something? And I want your honest opinion."
I burnt my tongue eating the same thing.
How reassuring that I'm not the only one. It's good after your taste buds don't burn anymore, right?
It does look good. But no hun, don’t stuff them into your purse. Don’t be that person.
And what's wrong with being that person? Something tells me you haven't had the shrimp yet.
Isn’t it usually better that way?
Not when it's hot enough to burn your taste buds!
"Be careful! Here — have some water."
"That was my own mistake that I will most likely repeat. Thank you so much... Albert!"
Well you have to let it cool off first silly
It just smelled so good! I don't get fancy appetizers every day you know, and I am not above stuffing more into my purse.
"Careful, don’t hurt that pretty mouth. I was looking forward to a night of conversation."
"Erm, don't worry. My mouth can handle a small burn. I'm sorry, do I know you?"
As I was saying, the food here is delicious and-- oh! Hot! Hot!

flashback time! || who's there?
"Hello?" Echo smiled, rarely did certain words reflect her thoughts, but this happened to be one of the times when they did. Passing by the trees that obscured her see-through form, she stood by the river, waiting.
Rhode turned her head as she heard the voice confirming that someone else was in her presence. She looks to the river and spots the nymph standing there and takes a few steps over. "Echo, I should have known. It's a pleasure to see you again. How have you been?" She attempts to do a few hand gestures for her to use to answer the question.
