“Nah, it keeps you on your toes not knowing when I’m gonna storm in.” Rosie chucked. “Why would I ever wish that? Your ray of sunshine personality is always a joy to be around.” She teased while looking down at the file that landed in her lap. “Forge your name? Isn’t that illegal?” She asked as she leaned forward and grabbed a quill before opening the file and signing his name without reading any of it and then grabbing another one. “Good thing I’m great at forging your name.”

And if you’re so sure that nothing bad will happen, why do you need me to sneak you in? You should be able to walk in freely.” He shrugged with a grin on his face. “So I’m supposed to break the rules and put my ass on the line for a reason that I can’t know about? Seems reasonable to me. You should just apply for a transfer if you want to get in so badly. What we do is infinitely cooler than any other job anyway. Plus, you’d get to work with me, and, as we know, talking to me does make your day.”

“Because I already tried to sneak in and I kinda....got lost.” Rosie said quietly. Though it wasn’t entirely her fault. The place seemed like a maze down there. “Hey, you guys have your secrets and so do the Auror Department. Moody might kick my ass if I go around telling people what I was working on all the time. But as tempting as transfering might be I’m just too loyal to my own job. And besides, wouldn’t want you getting sick of me would I.” She chuckled.

But I guess you have a point. Things do seem to go your way. Like meeting me, for example. It’s probably been the highlight of your life. Anyway, things seem secretive because, well, they are. It’s called the Department of Mysteries.” Dirk laughed lightly before continuing. “You can’t tell me, or you won’t? And as far as I know, I’m not linked to anything illegal… Yet.”

“And what would they do if they catch me? Scold me and send me on my way? Can’t arrest a girl for looking around. And obviously. My life was utterly empty before you walked into it.” Rosie said with a chuckle before rolling her eyes slightly. “ I know its the department of mysteries. All I’m saying is they take that title a little too far in my opinion. But I can’t tell you....and won’t. And good. The less illegal things going on the easier my job is.”

“How is it flawed? It’s my plan, and my plans always work. And I wouldn’t need to ask if your department wasn’t so damn secretive. I swear half the workers just disappear off the face of the earth once they start there. But I...can’t tell you who I’m looking for. Though rest assured you are more than entertaining enough you just aren’t linked to anything illegal...that I know of anyway.”
