For Merlin's sake, why is this castle so damn cold?

Mhhh, I suppose that adds to it but the place is always draughty. Really you’d think with all the spells there are, they’d manage to warm the place up a bit.

[shrugs] My common room is always freezing, so I suppose I’m used to it. Perhaps a personal heating charm?

Oh I suppose but that's just so much effort and they never last. I'll just wear another jumper or something. There's still two month of winter left, I should really try to get used to it.

Same, really. Catching up with people, doing some reading. We should do something fun. It’s still the holidays after all and we wont get another lot until the summer. We should have a party

I think I’ll pass. Sorry, I’m just not really up to a party at the moment.

Maybe that's just it. Maybe a party will get your mojo back and everything. I'll even make a promise not to let you drink so much that you throw up in front of everyone. 

We could invite everyone, have it in the common room... aren't you even tempted a bit?

Well I’ll take it from someone who knows. So what have you been doing to occupy yourself before classes start back up?

Um, nothing worth mentioning, really. How about you?

Same, really. Catching up with people, doing some reading. We should do something fun. It's still the holidays after all and we wont get another lot until the summer. We should have a party

Do you fancy anyone?

No. Not really. Which is a shame. It'd be fun to fancy someone, especially when it's freezing cold outside and we're locked up in the castle. And it gets a bit boring reading about romance all the time, it'd be nice to try it for once.

Yeah, I suppose excitement can be drama. But there’s always drama. I don’t really know that they expect, locking a bunch of teenagers with raging hormones up in a big old draughty castle in the middle of nowhere and introduce a house system that pits us all against each other.

I guess you have a point there. The whole way this school works is sort of screwy, isn’t it? But yeah, be thankful you don’t have any drama going on. It’s…it’s just not fun, to say the least.

Most embarrassing moment?

Do I really have only one? I think it might have been the time in third year when I had to get from Herbology to Divination and I always had to run to make it on time and once I needed the bathroom really badly so I went to the toilets by the greenhouses and then ran all the way to the divination tower with my robes stuck into my pants and I thought everyone was laughing because I was running like mad. 

I got called Rosie Posie Panties for weeks.

Oh don’t be like that; I’ve seen the two of you together and I know fine well you think he’s amazing. And he thinks the same about you. But don’t worry, I won’t tell him so. 

Don’t think I’m moaning, I don’t mind. I suppose I just thought that by sixth year, everything would be more exciting.

Oh, believe me, I know. He does too. We just don’t tell each other for the sake of our egos not getting too large. 

It’s fine, really. Sometimes, well, let’s just say excitement isn’t always a good thing.

Have you pre-warned Vic that you’ll be in the hospital wing again? Your plotting has a habit of ending up there.

You better, someone needs to stop James and Al fighting with each othe and Uncle Harry just gives up. 

I think it would be a good idea, if you don't she'll just be annoyed and do you really want the person who has to make you all better being pissed at you?

Where do you think you'll be in ten years?

A fully trained healer working at St. Mungo's probably or maybe on the continent. Settled down I'd like to think with someone special

Yeah, well, your boys are pretty cool, like Elliot. The two of you are super close, just like family. You’re lucky to have someone close like that, I’m just the annoying little cousin to most.

Elliott’s cool? [chuckles softly] Fine, I admit he may be slightly cool, but if you tell him I said that, well, that’ll be the end of you. He won’t be able to shut up about it. [frowns slightly at her last words] I hardly think that’s true. You’re lovely. I’m sure your cousins don’t think that.

Favorite memory at Hogwarts?

Probably the first meal in first year. I was so worried I wouldn't be in the right house and I wouldn't make friends or I'd turn up and they'd send me back or something but I got here and I was sorted and it all just felt so right. Since then it's mostly been great. Not exciting, but great

Favorite cousin?

Oh now that's just mean. Growing up I spent most time with James, Al and Lil. So probably the three of them together but I daren't say which. I know how they can be with their revenge pranks.
