We watched a spectacular fire show on Koh Samet Island, Thailand about a week ago, here is some footage from it.
Currently we are on Koh Phangan island and in a few days we will be attending a big party on the beach of Haad Rin, called the Full Moon party which they have every month. It is very popular with backpackers. Look out for footage from that in the coming weeks.

Hello Kitty Cafe Hongdae Secret Garden in Changdeokgung Palace
Amazing dancing robots in Ulsan Science Museum, dancing to Psy’s latest song, Daddy which is heard everywhere in korea at the moment.
We visit Gamcheon Culture Village, a stunning place with community art everywhere you look, the world's largest fish market, Jagalchi Fish Market and witness night views of Busan's main bridge.
We visit Golgulsa temple outside Gyeongju, explore and visit a stone Buddha carved into rock, and then watch a traditional Sunmodo martial arts performance.
We explore the historic capital of South Korea, Gyeongju, visiting Burial Mounds, A temple & Pond and a Confucian Academy within a Hanok village.

We explore Eonyang, Jakwechong Stream - one of the 12 scenic sights of Ulsan, and an Amethyst cavern near Eonyang, with an awesome new Buddhist temple.
We end up making a friend along the way!
New Flickr Account and Gallery on Site, Travel Updates!
Hi folks, sorry for the few updates recently.
I have mainly been taking photos and i’ve discovered that putting them on facebook isn’t really a good idea because I cannot easily share them on the blog so I have setup a flickr account which I believe is vastly superior.
On the blog I now have a new page called photo gallery which will update with all the recent photos i have taken. Still need to work out how to get the albums on there but you can see all the photos and hopefully they will have the links to the albums once you click on them.
I will be adding descriptions and titles to the images in due course, all this stuff takes its time though.
So far I have put up all the photos I have taking in South Korea, including Seoul, Tongdosa Temple, Gyeongju City (the historic original capital of South Korea), Ulsan and Busan.
Also on Flickr you can put short video clips so I will be putting up the raw clips i put in the vlogs.
As for other updates to the blog, I have added a link to my foursquare / swarm history so you can see where I have been, and updated the map page to include the route to Japan, where we will be heading February 25th.
At the moment I am trying to learn Japanese also, we have the basics of ordering food down in Korean and feel pretty comfortable here, so we figured it would be good to get started on Japanese. Also a lot of the bus travel we will be doing in Japan we cannot book very far in advance online if at all, we mainly have to book in person which we will need Japanese for.
Here in Korea we can use the T-Money card for most buses which is an equivalent to the London Oyster card, meaning we don’t need to know much in terms of Korean.
When I get round to it I will be putting up more Vlogs, and ones with narration as well if I can.

Trip Preparations and Leaving London!
So here we are folks :D the time has arrived. Today I packed up all my stuff and left my tiny room in London for the last time in a while (I’m sure I’ll be back at some time its where the jobs are). I am returning back to my parents in Devon.
I don’t have too much to say about London really, I’ll say for sure I’ll definitely miss the friends I’ve made and the people who have enriched my lives and vice versa, but the place itself not so much.
You have to have a lot of money to enjoy London properly, you cannot get away from that fact sadly, although its fine for sure if you don’t want to save anything. But for me its always been about experiences over material things, and I don’t see there are very many experiences to be had here or any sort of quality of life and 2 years is enough for me. Anyway I don’t wanna make this post too negative lol so I’ll leave it at that. I think really I’m looking for a quieter life :D which I will recieve in rural Eonyang.
Last weekend I went to visit my friend in Manchester and he recommended portable camera and audio equipment for me, he is good with this kinda stuff. I am going to start doing vlogs and posting them up on YouTube and for this I need both good quality video and audio. I ordered some cheap equipment off Amazon 1 day delivery so the last few days I have been running round picking this up from the amazon locker at Snow Hill, Farringdon. Generally because its easier and I can collect in bulk.
I ordered the sjcam 4000 action camera and the zoom h1 portable audio recorder and accessories for both for under £200. I need the greater flexibility that comes with an action camera and my phone (Xioami Mi4) has started getting slow recently, me and my friend up in Manchester confirmed it was a hardware issue when we installed another ROM on it.
This concludes my purchases, from now on I will be spending purely on experience: accommodation where necessary, food, and travel. I am hoping that the things I have bought now last, the camera has a waterproof case, and I have a backup phone as well now which is waterproof dust proof and shockproof.
As well as my friend in Manchester I visited my other London friend for a bit last Friday. So many people to see lol.
A few weeks ago I ordered backpacker travel insurance for the next year for Dec 3rd onwards. It has included medical care.
Tommorow I am going to change my address of my bank back to my parents and research into where I want to go and places I want to see in Japan when we go. We will start the process for the Working Holiday Visa for Australia when we meet in Korea.
On Sunday we are going for a meal for my birthday at a French style restaurant called Pierre.
I also plan to make some test videos while I’m here to get used to filming, its good to do because it builds self confidence, which I need to gain from hearing my own voice. I already watch many different bloggers on YouTube, people who blog on a daily basis about their lives, and I admire their confidence.
I hope I haven’t made this too long but I like to keep everyone up to date :D
