Shaking her head clear, Neo pushed herself back up on her feet, the Semblance quickly reassembling itself over her form. Frowning, she dispelled it, since it wouldn’t serve any longer. Glaring at Ruby, Neo signed ‘Nothing. Was going to wander around, maybe get some money.’ She conviently left out how she was going to get that money.

Leaning against a wall to get out of the way of pedestrian traffic, she crosses her arms, still glaring up at Ruby.

Ruby shot an equally intense glare back at the (surprisingly) shorter girl. With a sigh, she crossed her arms as well, shaking her head in disapproval.

“ I had no idea you were still out here causing problems. I thought you’d- Something happened to you. ”

Her voice grew smaller as she spoke, her mind flashing to the events of the fall. She was almost certain Neo’d met her fate that night. Obviously she was wrong.

“ I’m having a hard time believing that you’re doing nothing. ”
