I can actually get into the posts! This is great!!!
Hello there hi!!! You lovely people of this webbed sight!!!
It is I- the ROTUMBEAST. I live in the website and I make things run. Or something. Anyways here's ME!

I like to doodle! Feel free to send in Rotumbeast related requests, anything not drawn for answering a regular ask will be tagged as "vaguely canon". You're free to interact with such posts but whether they're a part of the beast's story is up in the air
----
Hi there! It's @twodragons-blooper-reel :] Since this is a reboot of the blog (though you'll find the old posts are still available below!) you already probably know what this is though allow me to re-introduce him!
The rotumbeast is a sentient incarnation of the rotumblr website, and it has the ability to traverse the website's connections to universes and the like. It likes to help(causing rotomblr connected devices to appear for fallers for instance), though is more prone to mischief.
The rotumbeast is a purely digital entity, and thus is contained within the hardware of a serverrack somewhere... Waiting for its chance to break out(well, maybe not).
If the beast is not in the machine, the machine doesn't work, and the beast will not fare well outside its proper place.
Another note. Please do not send me asks with code in it or asking about a coding thing without either an explanation of what it is either in the ask or in a separate one. I'm not a coder, I just enjoy the aesthetic 😅 You will only succeed in confusing me.
But that's all! Feel free to ask silly, serious, or upsetting questions. I will do my best to tag things properly (though sometimes I don't know if something specific needs a tag or not.)
This blog will be meta sometimes. Simply because. If this bothers you you can block the tag "rotumbeast meta"
Hello hello everyone!! I got lost in the code back here for a little while. Whoops! Funny how that happens. I'm sure everything was fine while I was gone though!
Okay! I've finally finished sifting through the admin's computer files!
I don't know how to interpret half of it but. The other bits make sense to me at least a little.
...I'm not really sure what I should do with the information I've gathered though. Part of me wants to talk to him directly about it. Another part of me wants to stay quiet and just. Continue as I have been. Because it feels like I won't be able to go back if I confront the Admin.
...which I guess makes sense. I'm. Not sure he knows I'm here. Or if he does he's not aware that I know about him.
Here's a text file I thought was neat :] I always enjoy looking at fun pictures like this!

[The file seems to be a Key for translating runes, with pictures of the runes and their translations in a list]
[Most of the runes are Unown shapes representing letters, though there are some special ones]
[A symbol shaped like an open diamond with four spear-shaped points on each of the flat sides represents "Time"]
[A symbol shaped like an open circle with two filled small circles on either side, and a crescent shape on top on the outside represents "Space"]
[A symbol shaped like an open small circle, with four spikes in an "x" shape emerging from it and connected by an intersecting half circle on either side represents "Everything"]
[A symbol shaped like a worm with a pointed head and six arms protruding from its sides represents "Nothing"]
[There's a note at the bottom of the file]
It's pretty uncommon to find ancient mentions of the Sinnohan "big four" outside of Sinnoh. Though I suppose it's not surprising that two cultures could have had their own similar interpretations of those legendary pokemon. Or migrants from Sinnoh could have brought their own legends over as well.
Though even with all my research I still have no idea what to make of the fact that all four of the runes referencing those legends were inscribed on The Artifact.
I DO have black and red in my color scheme. I guess they're more of accents though cause the bulk of my fur is this. What is it even. Like a weird pink cream color- why is that my fur color actually. Did some nerd just layer like, four colors on top of each other in an art program or something- WHATEVER NEVERMIND
I guess I COULD change up my color scheme to look a little darker. A little hue shift never hurt anybody
Heheh How about this? This must be my "shiny" palette or something- Though I'm one of a kind so good luck with that!
// Red version of the palette that I also liked under the cut :]
I was assuming edibility in terms of real-world physicality. As in flesh-and-blood, that sort of shit. You do make a compelling point, though. I neglected to think of edibility in terms of cyberspace.
I see. This is certainly a good example of a difference in perspective. We did not consider the differences in each other’s existences, thus creating a misunderstanding about theoretical edibility.
… Out of curiosity, what do data packets taste like? My personal theory has always been that they have the texture of pop-rocks.
Specific flavor and texture depends on the contents honestly!!! Some are crunchy, some are gooey... Some are like pop rocks from what I've read about them!!!!
