🚙: OUR MUSES DRIVE/WALK AROUND TO LOOK AT PEOPLES XMAS LIGHTS AT NIGHT

While decorating his apartment for the holiday was not something he enjoyed, observing other people’s decorations around their properties was something else. Soohyuk was the type who would prefer to observe and admire rather than to actually participate in such activity. He would usually blame his busy schedule whenever people who would come over to his apartment ask about the lack of decoration for the festive holiday, but in truth, he was just a little too lazy to put up ornaments only to put them down after Christmas. There might have been a time not long before that he was caught not removing the Christmas decor from his wall until it was summer, that he wouldn’t like to happen ever again.

What better way to spend the beautiful night of looking at other people’s Christmas display than with a friend. A friend that had gotten a little closer to him through the past few weeks. He knew of the busy lifestyle she had that he thought a nice stroll along the beautiful neighborhood will do them some good in relaxing and enjoying the time off. Just as they began, the entire block was filled with colorful lights, huge inflated characters, and some even had music playing that went along the Christmas lights. Things were going well so far, he was enjoying himself and from how she looked, she seemed to be on the same boat as he was. “The wealthiest neighborhood are always the best with the displays. I wonder how much their electricity bills are though. It must cost a lot, especially when some have already started to put them up a month ago.”

🏠: OUR MUSES DECORATE THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE!

Decorating for the holidays wasn’t something Soohyuk was particularly keen on doing, more so if he had to go outside in the freezing cold to put up decoration outside the house. It wasn’t even his house he was decorating, instead it was for a good friend. Usually, he would make up excuses to get out of the task being given to him, it had worked for most of the days. He started feel terrible for her if he refused again when he asked and this time, she was right in front of him. Who could ever refuse such an angelic face?

With a defeated sigh, Soohyuk brought it upon himself to finish decorating according to her needs as fast as he could. Being the tallest, he was often tasked to get on the ladder to get to an even higher areas of the house to put up strings of lights and whatever was handed to him. In all honesty, he wasn’t paying much attention to what he was doing except for following her directions. With how happy she looked, he did feel some warmth of being able to help others that couldn’t match any material things. “Alright… I think the roof is done. Is there anything else I can help you with?”

Being invited to parties where he only knows less than a handful of people wasn’t completely rare at all for Soohyuk – in fact, he only knew one person who dragged him over to this party with all sorts of musicians, actors, and other people who works in the same industry. Soohyuk tends to keep to himself most of the time, though since the party is consisted of people who had worked in the entertainment industry for a long time, he decided to mingle with the others for his own benefit. It didn’t come easy for someone who tends to stay within his already close group of friends, drinking a little too many than he should for the party, still he carried around a glass filled with liquor. With being already lightheaded, Soohyuk decided that he had enough mingling for the night until he spotted a beautiful young woman nearby. 

He was intrigued by the beauty that were only several feet away from him. Blame it on the alcohol for his inflated ego, but he needed to know her name at least. He needed to make an impression on her that would last. That was when an idea came, bringing himself closer to the young woman who caught his eyes. Soohyuk knew of the mistletoe that hanged near the door where she was standing by herself, maybe he can lure her closer towards it. “Miss, can you come with me? There’s something I have to ask you, but I’m afraid it’s too loud here.” With a nudge of his head towards the direction he wanted her to go to, it was easier than expected to get the young female to follow him. Once they were both underneath the mistletoe, he came to a halt and took a turn to face the woman. “Do you believe in kissing under a mistletoe?”

“Oh, come on. Are you falling asleep?” He had to gently nudge the female beside him in an attempt to stop her from falling asleep. He could already see her eyes slowly closing and her head beginning to lean forward. Soohyuk couldn’t believe what he was seeing, she was the one who suggested to stay up to “catch” Santa Class in the act, and now she’s the one who’s falling asleep? He only agreed because she brought food with her and was determined to stay over at his place for the night just to wait for Santa Claus, who no one above the age of seven believes in anymore. Despite those, he agreed just to feel the holiday spirit of being nice and merry. Except he wouldn’t have it if she falls asleep after midnight strikes. “Yah, wake up. He could come in any minute now. Do you really want to sleep when we’ve come this far?”
