Spare Some Tokens? || Dahlia & Brock

Did she have a gambling problem? Maybe. Only slightly if you asked her yourself. There was something about a game of chance that always got her going. That’s probably why her facility at the Battle Frontier is absed on luck and chance. She enjoyed seeing how people used what fate has dealt to them. Naturally, she felt the same way when it came to casinos. Dahlia already had a natural attraction for the big city. Especially one like Celadon that was known worldwide. Here, the large department store brings in the crowd. However, once their eyes fall upon the game corner, well there’s just no turning back.

Currently, that is where one could find the latina. Playing the slot machines trying to win big. Most likely trying to make up for the money spent at the store, but unknowingly still spending more with buying tokens. She cursed in Spanish to herself as she lost yet another round. “Que..?” she said to herself once she noticed that she had indeed used up her tokens. She puffed her cheeks as she looked around, spotting a spiky haired man. “Excuse me, do you think you can spare a token or two..? Por favor?~” she asked sweetly

Celadon was a great city to go to spend money, and that was exactly what Brock was there to do. He had been saving up some money as of late and decided to go see what the Celadon Department Store had in stock. They always had something interesting to buy and it was never a wasted trip. After purchasing a few items from the store, Brock contemplated heading straight back to Pewter City, but decided to enjoy the city while he was still here.

Brock eventually ended up at the Celadon Game Corner and after some deliberation he entered the building. He wasn’t much of a gambler, but from time to time it didn’t hurt to just play a little. When in Rome, as the phrase goes. He bought a few tokens and before he could even get to a slot machine, a young woman ran up to him begging for some tokens.

“Since you asked so kindly, how could I say no?” Brock smiled at the woman, and held out his hand with all of his tokens in it. He didn’t really mind helping someone out, who were down on their luck. After all, the slot machines were a harsh game to most folks, himself included. “Take as many as you like, alright?”

She smiled brightly as the stranger agreed to share his tokens with her, her eyes nearly glittering. Lucky her, she didn’t have to try to use persuasion like she usually would have to to get some free tokens in a game corner. “Ah, gracias! How lucky! This usually doesn’t happen this easy in these kind of places.” she said with a soft laugh as she took the offered tokens. “Maybe my luck might turn around!~”

She swiftly turned on her foot to go back to the machine, offering the man one more smile. Excited to finally be back on a roll, she inserted the tokens to start up her streak again. She paused momentarily as a thought crossed her mind. Dahlia looked over her shoulder to the spiky haired man. “Would you like to join me in this round? Playing in the game corner is a whole lot more fun when you’ve got someone with you~”

I think you should give Malva some love advice...

“Who? Well whoever she is, she can come ask and I’ll help however I can~”

So if Flint asked you out on a date right now...

“Ha! I’d say yes in a heartbeat. Are you kidding? A date with him would probably be a blast! I’m pretty sure anybody would say yes~”

Shop Until You Drop || Dahlia & Elesa

Lights. Bright lights all over the place. That was the first thing that Dahlia picked up on as she entered Nimbasa City. The colorful lights and the buildings all over the place were leaving the tall woman in awe. She returned her Togekiss to its ball as she dismounted from it. It was refreshing being away from Sinnoh and in a whole new region. At least here she wouldn’t have to worry about anyone recognizing her as one of the infamous Frontier Brains of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier. Was she once again escaping her duties? Of course she was. When wasn’t she? A bright smile formed on her lips as she began to walk, humming a tune to herself.

She heard about the shopping in this city. That was one of the main reasons that she decided to make this trip. After all, the cold season was coming and she needed a whole new wardrobe for the colder weather! “Hmm...” It probably would have been smart for her to find a map of some sort so she can at least find her way around. She paused in her steps as she caught sight of the amusement park. Now she felt conflicted. “Shopping or amusement park...what should I do?!” she exclaimed.
