1. Origin of your username
Had the row row row the boat gently down the stream stuck in my head for AGES and decided it was actually a great username
2. I will always order this food
Oh boy where do we start. I love food, and I've also challenged myself to try new things, but I do have many safe options I go for as I love them.
1. Prawns/shrimp. I love these guys. They taste amazing in everything. White wine. Soy sauce. Sticky chilli glaze. God it's 5am rn and they're all i can think of.
2. Most chicken dishes. Can't go wrong with chicken. Very versatile, very delicious meat. I've actually ate so much chicken, and eat so much at home that I rarely order it anymore unless it's a takeaway. I've eating/cooked it every single possible at this point!
3. Steak. Love a steak! I always have it rare or medium rare at most lol. I'm on my (very expensive T-T) journey to try every single cut of steak there is, and I've recently had a T-bone steak! Ooh so delicious and filling i can't wait to have it again. I had it with some red wine and bone marrow sauce. God almighty that was one of the best sauces I've ever had.
4. Mussels! I had them just last year and fell in love. I didn't expect to love them as much as I do but they're genuinely soo delicious and fun to eat. I always feel like a little monkey or squirrel in a tree whenever I crack them open.
5. Lasagna. At Italian restaurants this used to be my go to. I prefer a bolognese base with lots of bechamel sauce but I still love a ragu in a lasagna. My mother always used to make the most delicious lasagna ever and I absolutely adored it.
6. Burgers. I'm actually quite picky with burgers, and I'm the type of person to order them plain usually -- though, and im very proud of myself for this, I've starter ordering them plain but with sauce. I know. Can't you just be amazed by my bravery? If I get a fast food burger I usually go for a chicken one, but in restaurants I indulge in beef burgers. Idk why, I just don't like the beef from fast food places lol
7. Last but not least; Fish and Chips! It's probably my favourite pub food. Constantly having a craving for some proper fish and chips. I recently tried (another brave move) some tartar sauce and it was delicious. Complimented the fish so well it was beautiful. Deep fried sea life is very delicious, and I sometimes also have scampi. Tasted very similar yet somehow even more delicious.
I'm glad this is just about ordering food because I would have written a ten page essay on food I enjoy both at home and at food places. I love eating! I'm known at work for making my own intricate lunches ha ha

4. Favourite show/movie/book
Oooh another long answer probably
My favourite show has to be Avatar: The Last Airbender. Such a classic and im genuinely obsessed with it. I've been to the musical concert they had in Edinburgh and sobbed lmao. I also have almost all of the comics for the ATLA series and the official cookbook! So yeah, definitely my favourite show by far.
My favourite movie is a hard one to pick! I rewatch so many it's hard to pick a favourite so im going to pick several!
1. Sea Beast. It's great. I'm going to refrain from talking about it more because again I will write a whole essay on what makes this movie great. I need someone to watch it so I could yap about it!!!
2. Princess Mononoke. My favourite Ghibli film! (Though Ponyo and Howl's moving castle are very very close seconds) I love the way they portray environmentalism and humanity in it. Such a beautiful movie I cannot recommend enough. It's another one of those movies I can talk about for HOURS. Highly recommend!!
3. The Grinch 2000. I don't even know why this one is so dear to me. I didn't grow up on it but I rematch it every couple of months. Maybe it's relating to grinch as being someone different and wrong my entire life. Maybe it's the commentary on overconsumerism during Christmas time. Maybe it's Martha May Whovier's crush on the Grinch being just adorable (and yes I've read fanfiction about them. They're my favourite straight couple). Maybe it's the costume and set design. I don't know. But it's a comfort movie of mine that I watch whenever I feel sad.
My favourite book is an easy one to pick currently because I just finished it, but the original Jurassic Park novel. Holy shit it's so good. Oh my god!!! I ordered the second book by Michael Crichton because I love his style and I've never been so excited for a package to come in before aaaaaaaahh!!
Trümmerkinder by Oomph! It's currently my favourite from them but some others from the same album (ritual) are close seconds. Got the CD recently so I've been playing it on for the past two weeks I think lol
6. Last thing you hyperfixated on
Hmm probably the Jurassic Park novel haha. I shipped two characters together because I found their interactions silly so I searched the entire Internet for them and only found 4!! Only 4!!! Fics on ao3. Not as bad as Xin Fu/Master Yu from ATLA 😮💨. Xin Fu doesn't even have a character tag
7. Oddly specific thing that brings you joy
Whenever my cat is laying down and im petting her wee head and she stretches into it. I have a picture;

Her eyes are massive. And it's so funny because she's already smaller that average, so her eyes just bulge out of her head. Just adorable.
I got a new phone so I haven't fully decided what I'd like for it but I wanted to go with a food theme for this year so I've got a kitchen! :D the icons will become food in due time I just don't have said time
My previous phone had apples as the background and icons and everyday is a challenge to not just copy it
9. What smell makes you happy
The worn in kinda smell. Not dirty or sweaty, just the person's smell. I hate the laundry smell, it's so overwhelming for me, so whenever it dies down to just a worn people smell it's so much nicer and more comforting.
And another smell i like is cigarette smell mixed with someone's house smell. My house smelled like it when my parents still smoked, and so did two of my closest friend's houses, so I always associated it with safety and familiarity. Also having a crush but we don't talk about that ha ha.
Another smell I adore it the smell of cooking Rosoł. Ooh it's such a yummy smell. Especially when youre ill or have a cold. Shit can cure you.
10. Morning, evening, or other type of person
During summer, definitely evening. I'm sensitive to the sun (heat and getting sunburned. I go red on a cloudy day) and the evening is SUCH a beautiful temperature. Especially if it's a clear day as well. So nice to go out for a walk and sit on a bench to think.
During winter im just not a person.
11. What's your work or profession
I'm a service receptionist at an unnamed truck dealership! Me and my colleague are the first people that customers will reach if they walk in or call the phone. It's such a busy of time of year right now aaaah I hate phone calls!! But now I know way too much about trucks lmao. I am leaving this job though in August so I can go to university and study English literature and Philosophy :D im so excited and lowkey gutted that I have to leave all my coworkers behind :(
