Like yes female red eared sliders inner shells come out/forward the way breasts come out, but I don’t think Leo would know/understand that that is a feminine trait that would need to be corrected in order to look masculine, and I don’t think a binder, even one of Donnie’s creation, could change the shape of a shell, and not only that, but it would hurt.

This doesn’t feel like a counter argument so much as I wasn’t being as succinct/explanatory as I could’ve been (that’s my way of saying I don’t really understand why you said it the way you did cause it doesn’t really contradict what I’m saying). This isn’t me saying people do or don’t have to amend his design to be trans, I’m just talking about certain headcanons that don’t make sense in my mind.

But, yes you are correct, male sliders have concave shells for mating purposes, thank you for pointing that out. /gen

(I’m just gonna use you as a jumping off point to talk about trans Leo, cause he is, and no one can convince me otherwise)

In either case, as I said, I don’t think binding a shell would be physically possible, its likely too solid to correct in in the way to look like a male sliders inner shell. Not to mention there are other traits that would be technically feminine that it would make sense to be changed for him to look “more masculine” if they’re going through the trouble of finding a way to change the shape of his shell.

(And this is kinda off topic and kinda not in a way, but his shell is convex, it isn’t concave like an amab’s shell would be (this is most likely a stylistic choice to make his inner shell look more like a masculine human chest). Not to mention the other traits of a female slider he has. (Again probably stylistic design choices, but they’re choices that make him transgender) )

Also I’m not trying to be argumentative I just like talking about this subject because Leo is my favorite, and I am transgender and so he is transgender. /gen

“Are you sure?” She was looking down on her smaller counterpart, she had to, she grew to a massive size and he stayed, small. She could see the deep purple and black feathers peaking through his thick colorful coat, his form was slipping, probably from stress; and she knew what was hiding in the thick red blanket.

“I think so, I trust you and Phil with him more than I trust myself.” Grian shrugged and peaked in to check that the little being was still safe and asleep. He look neither well nor happy with his decision.

“100% sure?” he looked up at her, almost pleading, don’t ask again, looking away again before responding. He knew she could tell exactly what he was thinking just by looking at him, and looking away wouldn’t help his case.

“Yes.” he was hiding his watery eyes with his hair,

“You don’t look sure.” She turned his face up so she could see it, and suddenly he found everything but her eyes much more interesting.

“Stop trying to get in my head Kris! Evo isn’t safe for a baby. I’ll come back when he’s a little older, but for now, he needs somewhere safer.”

“Do you want that though, to leave him here?”

“No! God no! But it’s safer this way, safer for him, and you guys already have Will and Tech, you just-”
