Never thought I’d enjoy anywhere else except Los Angeles, however I’m rapidly changing my mind — even if I do keep getting lost in this place.  Can’t help it when there’s just so much to do, so much to see.  

Anyway, hi, I’m Ryan and I’m open to any suggestions you might have.  Still settling in but it’d help me to become familiar here.

#001 → douglas + arin

The escape room would be a new experience for Douglas. He’d only been in the town for a short amount of time, but it was nice to be able to do some activities to get him out of the house, and away from the mountain of boxes that still needed unpacking. After discussing with Arin the possibility of going through with the challenge together, he managed to get ready with enough time to spare to make it to the Lighthouse Cinema and eventually arrived within seconds of the time that had been arranged between them. They’d never met in-person before, so he was slightly hesitant to approach the other at first — though as he grew nearer, it was obvious which stranger was Arin. “Arin?” He smiled, now outside the venue. “Sorry I’m running a little late, I wasn’t expecting the traffic to be so chaotic today. Although I guess this must be pretty popular today.” He shrugged, before extending his hand out to be shook. “It’s nice to finally meet you in the flesh.” There was something about meeting new people that made him nervous ( which made him babble ) but he was quickly relaxing into the setting, particularly with the knowledge that they’d soon be working as a team. // @royalarin

Arin had already done a few escape rooms, one recently with his best friend Danny. It was challenging, but also very fun, cracking codes and making jokes while they attempted to escape the room. He brought his film guy along with him, so they could make a video for the Game Grumps’ channel, and when they arrived he got out alongside his camera man. Hearing his name, Arin turned and smiled at Douglas, shaking the others hand firmly. “Hey man, no problem. We were running a bit behind anyway. Also if you don’t mind, I’ll be recording this for my channel on YouTube called Game Grumps.” He pointed to the other man, “This is Matt, he’s going to be our camera guy.” Arin informed Douglas before walking towards the venue where the escape room was being held. “I just did one of these recently, actually. It was like a murder one where we had to escape the room before the murderer came in to kill us. Don’t know what this one is about though.”

Listen, I know it might seem stupid or maybe even overdramatic, but I don’t think I have packed enough tea for coming here. Nothing beats Yorkshire, or Twinings English Breakfast… well, in my eyes anyway. Do you know anywhere that sells either? Keep in mind that I already have low expectations, so even a single tea bag would be golden. If not, how do you survive this place?

No idea, man. I only drink sweet tea, and that’s a given. Maybe someone should invest in a tea store here, because I’m not too sure if we have one or not. But, I’m Arin. Nice to meet you man, sorry for not being too much help.

This is comin’ from a total foodie here, but have any of you caught the newer cereals that are out? Like the Nilla Wafers one or Chocolate Chip cookies? Or even the Dippin’ Dots Ice cream cereal? I dunno, I was goin’ shopping to stock up on a couple of things the other day when I randomly came across it and I HAD to have it. All of it. What I’ve tried of it is amazing so far.

When is someone old enought to have the Harry Potter books read to them? Just in case you didn’t know yet, I’m a Potterhead and I’d like to share my love with Bear, but I wouldn’t want Liam to get mad at me for starting him on the stories to young. Soooo, any age suggestions here?

Honestly, I have two twin girls that are almost two months, and I read them Harry Potter. But they also don’t understand it. So, uh, I guess probably around.. five? Never too early to get a kid’s creativity going.

Listen, I can’t understand the whole ‘In My Feelings’ challenge. At all. I saw two teenage girls doing it, and they tripped and ate shit. Anyone else kind of annoyed by it? I love my boy drake, but I hate scrolling through Facebook and seeing these damn videos every other post. I’m probably just old.

Anyhow, I’ve lived here before but due to work, I had to go back to LA for a bit. I’m Arin Hanson, and it’s great to be back.

Today my wife and I became parents at 12:30 this afternoon. We welcomed two beautiful and healthy baby girls that are named Ophelia and Lily Hanson. I couldn’t be any more proud of my wife, and we are excited to bring these two girls home.

“I didn’t figure that it would be. I mean, you’re gonna push out two babies soon.” He smiled, putting his hands on her stomach, eyes closing as she played with his hair. “I just.. can’t wait to hold them, honestly. It’s going to be the most amazing thing in the world. All four of us, together.”

Arin chuckled and leaned against the door way, eyes fixed on his beautiful wife. “True, I don’t know what to pack for them though. Ophelia and Lily are going to have the best mom in the world.” He walked to her, sitting down on the bed and looking over at her, taking her hands. “I love you so much, Suze. You are my entire life. Thank you for giving us kids.”

She smiled at her husband. “You don’t have to thank me, Arin. I wanted them as much as you did. Now we’re about to have our two little princesses.” She cupped his face and pressed a kiss to his forehead. “They are gonna have an amazing Daddy too. They have no idea how lucky they are.”

Arin smirked and sighed, resting his head on her chest, listening to her heart beat. “Oh, I know. We’re gonna be some pretty kick ass parents, if I say so myself.” He looked up at her, “The girls are gonna be so so lucky. Oh, also. Have you been having any, like, weird pain? Labor pains or anything? I just want to make sure that you’re comfy and okay.”
