I fear some of the people in this space are so mired in their disdain for bts as a group and the members that they cannot see the forest through the trees. There is a difference between being critical while engaging in good faith discourse and projecting your assumptions onto people simply because of perceived slights or your own dislike. This does not mean there isn't room for critical thinking or good faith discourse because there should be and unfortunately there isn't much of that within the fandom. However, if you cannot engage in these discussions without being angry or hateful that is a problem. Like are you not tired? Are you not emotionally drained? It cannot be good for anyone's mental health to consistently engage with things they dislike so fervently. Maybe it is time to take a step back and gain some perspective đ€·đœ. (It is sad this can apply to any faction that has spawned from engaging with bts or singular members)

Iâm sorry but I have to say this. Iâm not army nor in the fandom, I just casually like some old bts songs. But Iâve descended into the jikook rabbit hole and Iâm kinda overwhelmed. I am atiny and personally believe woosan is real (you can disagree whatever) so Iâm open-minded to the possibility of idols dating. Never to cross boundaries or demand answers for anything, they donât owe us shit. But as a silent observer who wishes the best regardless of what their relationship is. Whether youâre a shipper or not, thereâs not a 100% chance your bias is straight or even cis. As seen in 2025 especially, as slowly more idols start coming out as queer, you start to realize thereâs a lot of âhiding in plain sightâ going on.
So I slowly made through some jikook content post-military and began noticing some similarities they have to woosan. The natural lingering touches that walk a thin line, the matching clothes/items, looking at each other longer than necessary even if theyâre 7 feet apart, other members trying to ignore the elephant in the room and failing. So I began to wonder if theyâre dating too but I wasnât entirely sure. And even if they were, I wasnât convinced itâs been going on for 10 years. Maybe it started in 2021-2022, I for sure thought the filming of ays was couple-coded. Then I saw the dispatch rumor & ss that they were included in a selection of couples in 2017 to be revealed but never did and all the other couples on the list were proven to be real. It made me raise an eyebrow but I still kept my skepticism.
And thenâŠ.then I watched the Ultimate Jikook Video on YouTube. Exposed me to a lot but the one that GAGGED me, the one that fully convinced me these two certainly have been fooling around at the very least for a long timeâŠ.was the 2016 Osaka hotel Live.
JK had to be tripping or he thinks Iâm fucking stupid. Can I say too I felt so bad for Taeđ he just wanted to tease JK and left that room with a totally different vibe. But then Hobi does a live where he goes in JMâs room and the whole thing reads as someone was in there too and had to hide. Not to mention the reflection in the tv of a guy sneaking past and Hobi teasing JM with âoh yeah jimin-ahâ before leaving. My thing tho is if jikook were dating at this time, the members knew about it and they knew JK & JM liked to be in each otherâs roomsâŠ.idk I personally wouldnât take the risk of going live and knocking on their door.
Anyway since seeing those hotel lives my perception of them has changed a bit. I still donât know if theyâve never taken breaks and having been dating consistently since 2015. All I know these two were a something. And in 2026 I do see them as a something.
Finally, I wanna briefly note the taekookers vs jikookers insanity I have seen. This is true vitriol on both sides, like Iâm familiar with ship wars. Woosan and sansang shippers have their own stupid beefs but not this. Yâall are like gangs, this is gang hatred. I donât think JK, JM, and V could pay yâall to get along for one day. This is some âyou killed my cousin back in 94â fuck your truce now crawl your head in that noose you wind up dead on the newsâ type shit. No one is taking a high road, everyoneâs getting dirty in the mud taking it to hell. Sure why not. Idk the origins of yâallâs hate and idrc to. No one jump me for this but army as fandom is so intense and terrifying. I might even get a threat for making this post idk I just wanna say I think jikook is real and Iâll be supporting them from a distance.

Honestly, I donât really know what you think because all of this was really mentally draining but people are still not letting go of their delusions so I just stopped speaking on it on Tumblr because people think about the situation here differently. No clip of Jungkook even glancing in her direction (she could also be a staff) If there had been even a single real interaction, people wouldâve uploaded full-length videos from ten different angles within minutes. Thatâs how fandoms work. The fact that thereâs nothing solid already tells you something. And then comes the part people conveniently ignore. If Winter was really there with them, why was she not seen backstage? Jungkook was. Nicole was. V was. RM was. Suga was. But Winter wasnât.
