How to find the location of your Android device
Without the use of any Thrid party apps, you can easily find out the location of your Android device even it is miles away from you. GPS and location services must be enabled in your device to work with this. You will be unable to use this service if your device is rooted and use custom ROMs instead of Google Apps. Here’s how to do it.
Sign into your Google Account associated with your Android device.
Launch Google Chrome.
Type “Find My Phone” in the search box.
A map gets displayed above. This shows the location of your Android device. If you click on the arrow next to the name of your device, a brief history of all the device log-in’s is displayed that also shows whether the device is currently active or not. Google will get you as close as possible to your phone by showing the exact location or the nearest possible.
