Well, I made it. I forgot what a bitch moving is - I haven’t done it in so long. I feel like I’ve been confined to my house for two days. But I just finally got outside and it’s beautiful here. And it’s not even just the scenery - I don’t think I’ve seen one ugly person since I landed. That’s quite a feat.

I spent the first sixteen years of my life fighting to get out of small town Texas, there’s a weird full-circleness to finding myself back in one (well, not Texas, but you get my drift, yeah?) of my own accord. This place is gorgeous though (and I don’t just mean the people!), so I think I made the right choice. Anyway, I’m Amber and I’m horrendous at introductions. If anyone can do them without sounding like a lame Tinder profile, hats off to you. Did I mention unpacking is a bitch?

They’re made in heaven –right? I haven’t got the chance to see a lot of Royal. So far I’m feeling fine here. It’s a special town. I’m open to suggestions.

Oh, totally! There’s a lot to do here. It’s kind of overwhelming at first. I mean, it’s such a small town but there are like, tons of options. Not to mention all of these amazing restaurants in town. There’s a lot of seafood -- hopefully that’s your thing.

Well morning, I kind of kept to myself while I slowly moved things to town so if you thought you saw a lost mustachioed man in the last week that was probably me. Now I know right now I look a bit like a mix between a lumberjack and seventies pornstar but if you’ve seen This is Us you know it comes with the incredible joy of working with the lovely Mandy Moore so it’s all worth it don’t you think? And! I get to stoke my tache thoughtfully all the time like a dignified man. But more importantly I need caffeine, care to join me, I swear it’s not the first of the day so you’re not dealing with the grouchy pre morning coffee version of me. Oh shit wait, I didn’t even introduce myself I was wrapped up in insisting the facial hair was not a life choice, Hi I’m Milo. 

The 70s porn star look kind of works for you though, I mean... If you can pull it off, why not? I’ll admit, I haven’t seen the show yet but that’s only because I live under a rock. I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. Everyone’s always saying how good it is. I might have to binge watch the episodes. -- I’m Hailey, nice to meet you, Milo!

Has anybody experienced how slipperyUGGs are on slushy or icy surfaces? I nearly fall flat on my arse the other day. For being the warmest boots ever made (nevertheless the horrible look), they should be more appropriate for winter time. If you wonder what a French-Canadian is doing in the Southern North America, now you know. It’s strictly for the subtropical climate. Cold put my life in danger for too long.
