Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I have an immediate wave of anxiety crash over me. What have I done? Who hates me? Did I say something stupid yesterday? And I go on and on with these questions that don’t even make sense. I didn’t do anything wrong in my sleep... or prior to, and no one hates me. Even if someone does hate me, it’s really not my problem, yet my mind hops on this merry-go-round of anxious thoughts. My therapist always says to stop letting my anxiety write a story that isn’t true, and I know I need to somehow develop better ways of escaping these thoughts and shutting them down, so I guess for today the escape is just gonna be this unicorn mug, because it’s cute and colorful

Is drinking coffee out of a unicorn mug that says “don’t be basic” basic of me? I do have an obsession with unicorns and aliens tho so I just can’t help myself with these trippy cute things~ they make me happy 💁🏼‍♀️💕 what little things make you happy?
