Murder is illegal. Using a gun in the commission of a felony is illegal. Using a stolen firearm in the commission of a crime is illegal. A felon possessing a gun is illegal. What do you propose that will put a dent in those 30 homicides?

What about our murder rate in general though? Or more importantly what about our violent crime rate? We have 310,000,000 people in this country with over 300,000,000 million legal guns. Obviously gun murder will be higher yet it’s oddly been in decline for decades. Your source would be nice.

The world is not a safer place where gun ownership is restricted. It may have less gun crime but it doesn’t have less crime. More often than not it has more crime than when those citizens had weapons.

I am 22x less likely than the general population of Texas to commit any crime. It’s weird because there are nearly a million people in my state just like me yet we’re demonized daily because we’re a lot less likely than the other 26 million to do crime? Or is it the gun on our hip?
This terrorist was licensed too in case you missed it. He probably would have fit a similar statistic as mine yet no matter what gun regulations are proposed he would have passed them. He was an armed security guard with the licenses to go with it. Hell, he even passed three interviews by the FBI after making suspicious comments. So your world, supported by facts, would not have been safer with more gun restrictions.
