Obey Me! Brothers with a L♡lita MC Headcanons

My credentials- I've been wearing L♡lita for 2 1/2 years now and wear sweet, gothic and classic. EGL and L♡lita are used interchangeably here. Also, I mention what I think their favorite substyles and brands on you would be, but of course they would love your style regardless and think you're so so cute! Enjoy!

Under the cut are pictures of the pieces I mention here.

Lucifer

Lucifer loves to go out with you while you're wearing EGL. He's so proud to show you off and can't help but feel proud when people admire you.

He would never admit to something so petty, but he wants to brag when people stare. Like, "Haha, I'm with someone so gorgeous and elegant and cute and you're not."

But of course he's farrrr too mature for that.

Now if you REALLY wanna make him happy, try to match his colors. We know he secretly loves to match with you.

Basically, if you wear black and red or black and blue, his heart will melt.

I think he'd also be interested in the history of EGL as well. He'd read the GLBs with you and discuss the deeper aspects of the fashion and what they mean to you personally.

Gothic L♡lita is his favorite substyle on you, but I think he'd like solid color classic dresses as well. MMM, Mary Magdalene, and Antique Beast (for accessories) are his favorite brands on you. Think high quality and elegant, but still cute!

Mammon

He might feel a little embarrassed next to you sometimes, but not in a bad way!

More like compared to you he suddenly feels like his outfits aren't so fancy, but after going out with you more, he'll brighten back up and realize how cool you two are together!!

Mammon totally encourages your spending habits. Like if you ask him if you should buy ANOTHER JSK when you're in desperate need of blouses, he tells you to buy the JSK!

He's also the devil on your shoulder (literally) that tells you to scalp pieces you're selling.

When you first meet, he might try to steal your pieces to resell, but when you open up about how much L♡lita fashion means to you, he'll make some excuse about not understanding Lace Market and never do it again.

His favorite substyles on you are punk and casual. Silver jewelry, tartan, black, he just loves when you look cool! His favorite brands on you are Putumayo, h.NAOTO, and Alice and the Pirates! I think he'd love the Captain Chris plushie bags as well!

Leviathan

Unlike his brothers, Levi already had elite ball knowledge when you first came to the devildom.

He hits you with the feigned nonchalant, "I like your coord." and watches you get all excited.

Of course, when you and him get closer, he loses all tsundere tendencies and totally nerds out with you about it.

He'll feel more comfortable going out with you actually because he knows people are more likely to pay attention to you than him!

Levi will totally appreciate when you show him ocean themed releases.

He would especially especially love it if you dressed him up in one of your coords, though he would blab about how "there's no way he could wear something so sacred!!"

Put him in a pink Marine Kingdom JSK and he'll be the happiest (and shyest) demon in the Devildom.

I think he'd like OTT sweet L♡lita the best! He loves the pastels, the cute animals, the wigs, the giant headbows. He wants to be blinded by the power of your cuteness!!! Obviously Angelic Pretty and Baby the Stars Shine Bright are a given, but I think he'd appreciate Taobao accessories as well, like stuff from Cheese Cat.

Satan

Satan is a crazy good researcher and has tons of people who can do things for him...

He will ensure you find ALL of your dream pieces!

Ultrarare piece from a now defunct brand released in 1998? He'll have it on your desk by yesterday. Newly released dress there was a bloodbath for which is now being scalped to hell? He'll get it to you for $150!!

Of course, he loves cat print dresses as well. He may or may not buy you one if it matches your style, just so he can see you in it...

Some types of pieces he would think are really cute are blouse + skirt coords and berets.

I think he'd like classic L♡lita the best, but the cuter side of classic perhaps. Cat prints, book prints, and some of the more quirky stuff classic brands come out with! Some his favorite brands on you would be Innocent World, Emily Temple Cute, and Metamorphose.

Asmodeus

Oh my god.

Its love at first sight for him. When he sees you wearing EGL for the first time, he actually screams.

He's your personal photographer for life!! He'll take your coord photos and INSIST you document every outfit because he loves each one so much.

Asmo will also invite you to the cutest locations, his favorite places to take Devilgram photos will be YOUR favorite places to take coord photos!

While HE is your personal photographer, he doesn't appreciate strangers trying to take your picture without permission and may or may not curse them with week-long constipation. Or something much worse.

He will also help you do your hair and makeup in new, fun ways for each coord! He's an expert, so you're in good hands!

His favorite substyle on you is hime, but in the way that is inspired by hime gyaru. Think the old GLB catalogues where the models have big hair and big eyes and are wearing solid pink, floral, or crown pieces. His favorite brands on you are Angelic Pretty, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, and sometimes Metamorphose.

Beelzebub

He's very curious about you when he first meets you. He won't voice them, but he has questions! He stares at you a lot.

Later on, he enjoys picking you up while you're wearing EGL. Something about how cute you look and the feeling of your petticoat in his arms makes his heart warm.

Obviously he loves the food print dresses...

Yeah he'll definitely eat them if he gets the chance, you'll have to guard them with a fly-swatter.

If you go out to eat with him while wearing L♡lita fashion, he'll go out of his way to put napkins on your lap and tucked into your collar so it doesn't get stained. What a gentleman!

Beelzebub doesn't really get any squabbles over brands or quality you mention to him. If someone likes the dress, they should wear it!

He likes dresses that are more quirky and unique, he thinks they're really cute. Stuff like Whipped Magic from AP, some Metamorphose prints, Diamond Honey prints, and some western indie dresses too!

Belphegor

He can't be mean to you when you're wearing EGL aughh he feels too bad. Well, maybe he can be a little mean to you...

Belphie is one of the brothers most likely to steal your clothes to wear, especially if you have one of the styles he likes most. He likes to feel cute!

But when he realizes how uncomfortable EGL can be, he gives up his stealing ways. Especially the elastics on petticoats...

He might make you buy an adjustable petticoat cause there's no way you're living with that discomfort.

He doesn't like sheer fabrics or scratchy lace because its less comfy to cuddle and hug on you when you're wearing them.

But he will manage regardless!

Outside of wanting you to be comfortable, Belphie doesn't show a preference for any brands in particular, but he likes sailor L♡lita, star motifs, and sometimes gothic too.

So to be clear, I don't think the brothers KNOW they have fave brands, at least at first. But I think the pieces from those brands are the ones they would find themselves liking, and I think those brands illustrate the type of styles they prefer. Now onto the pictures with links!!

The first is the Iron Gate JSK from Moi-meme-Moitie, second is the Mary Lou OP from Mary Magdalene, and the last is the Striped Rose Headdress from Antique Beast. For the first, Lucifer would love the gothic atmosphere, and the fact that you would be matching his colors. He would love the quality and cuteness of the Mary Magdalene dress, and he would adore the cuteness of the bonnet so much he might actually black out for a second. He loves bonnets.

I based Mammon's insecurity standing next to MC on somethings my friends have said to me. Something along the lines to, "I feel like a bum next to you." It doesn't feel very good when people self-deprecate because of me, but I think its very real and reminded me of Mammon. For the pieces, the cutsew is from Putumayo, the first JSK is from h.Naoto, and the Captain Chris bag is from Alice and the Pirates. Punk EGL a lot in the styling...

First is the Marine Kingdom JSK that I mentioned in Levi's section. To me, it is the most Levi dress ever. The pink reminds me of Ruri Chan, its frilly and girly with pink bows, and its marine themed. The second is a broach-sash from Cheese Cat that I actually really want for my own wardrobe... Its a good example of the kinda accessories he likes. Last is Kuma Kumya's Marine Island from Baby the Stars Shine Bright, another cute marine dress!!

The first dress is Kitten Embroidered JSK from Innocent World. AP is kinda known for cat prints, but Innocent World makes some really cute ones too. If you wore something like that, his head might explode. Second is Tea Select JSK from Emily Temple Cute. Its a bit more of a quirky print that he would enjoy, plus its green!! Last is the Secret Library Skirt from Meta. I wanted to show an example of a skirt + blouse combo, and the print reminded me of Satan's room with the books and cats.

Asmo's section was a liiiiitle self-indulgent because this version of Hime is my FAVORITE style. I love pink and gold and florals and crowns AUGH i love it. I dyed my hair pink and blonde to suit it!! On the right is Royal Poodle from Angelic Pretty, which I personally really want in pink. In the middle is the Lady Rose Back Frill JSK, also from Angelic Pretty. And finally, with a stupid long name, is the Slow Motion Bouquet My Emotion On That Day JSK from Baby the Stars Shine Bright.

I mentioned that Beel would like Whipped Magic from AP, which is the dress on the right. In the product photos its not that obvious, but IRL and in better photos the cupcakes are NEON green. Its been nicknamed Atomic Cupcakes and was hated for years, but its kinda been coming back as popular lately. Personally I think its adorable. The second dress is Happy Capsule Toys from Metamorphose. Meta has a wide variety of dresses, but I think this one is a good example of the kinda quirky pieces he would like on you. The last one is Heartwarming Baby Tigers, which is an example of some of the cute, unique prints Diamond Honey has released!!

More variety with Belphie! Like I said, he's not super partial to any specific brands, but here are some dresses that reminded me of him! On the right, Long Sleeve Sailor OP from Meta. Belphie likes the cute collars of sailor dresses, but he also likes the edgy black and belt of this dress. He loves the cute animals, stars and moons of Dreamy Night Cakes from AP. Belphie also thinks gothic Lolita is cool, with Muscovy Macabre from Lil Luna being a good example of one he likes, the night time scene giving it bonus points!

as someone with ARFID i really couldn't care less about the distinction between "picky eaters" and "genuine eating issues." if you are an asshole to someone you see as "just picky" i will never, ever trust you. i've lived through the trauma of being shamed and humiliated for my eating needs.

frankly i think a LOT of "picky eaters" have some kind of sensory problems– autistic or allistic– and shame is never useful. i don't fucking care how annoying you think we are. if you've never lived through the humiliation of being the only one not eating at a dinner table, or having to choke down something disgusting you already know you hate because other people insist you don't know your own body, or getting a hunger migraine in a house full of food because none of its edible to you? you don't understand how awful it is to have food issues.

whenever i see people draw this distinction between being "just a picky eater" and "having a real problem" all i think is, who does this serve? most people don't even know ARFID exists. there are so many undiagnosed autistics, or just people with a variety of issues that aren't officially diagnosed. why do we need a medical label in order to be treated with respect and compassion? why did i need to be diagnosed as autistic for my family to realize the abuse they put me through for years because of my eating habits?

it's such an easy habit for neglected groups to fall into– the idea that a medical diagnosis can save us. that by appealing to the medical/psychiatric industry, we can be protected from abuse and given basic respect and resources. but the truth is that it should never have come to this in the first place. dignity doesn't come from an abled doctor telling you that there's a medical reason for your symptoms. it comes from being a person. once you accept that you need a Good Reason to have your needs respected, you doom yourself to neglecting and abusing those who have your same struggles because they aren't lucky enough to access medical recognition.

tl;dr solidarity with all "picky eaters" stop guilting people for having varying food needs, if we make you irrationally angry that's YOUR problem not ours, and abolish "children's menus" & replace them with simple-food / small-portion menus for people of all ages

Another Toxic/Abusive Ship That I Just Don't Get

I should have expected this, but I did not realise that people shipped Beldaruit and Deanreldy (the king). Any way I look at them, I get really uncomfortable, especially with the recent stuff, because that is a doctor abusing his power and keeping his patient weak and powerless. Beldaruit literally cannot move without being dependent on someone else in that castle, and the king is well aware of this. If this were a straight dynamic, with the patient being a woman, no one would ship this because of how harmful it is. There's a double standard where people won't ship certain ships because it's gay, but there's also a double standard where people will ship certain ships because it only "works" if it's gay. You're tired of seeing the woman in the weak position, and so am I, but making it an mlm ship does not make it better. It is still very problematic. There are toxic shipping dynamics, and there are abusive shipping dynamics, and this one is really abusive. Abuse shouldn't be romanticised.

Second, Sodomy and Sodom is NOT the same?? The city of sodom in the bible is a symbolic place on earth that is meant to represent the human urge to sin and to harm others, hence why it was burned. He is a priest so its most rational to assume he takes on the christian interpretation of Sodom

Third, he is literally qouting the bible within a verse that has nothing to do with homosexuality. the word "Sodom" itself means burning. He says that sodom will burn because the fire within sodom is said to be "alive forever" . It is a metaphor for hell on earth not homosexuality

The assumption that every single business, or service, is owed your personal data, and should be able to track you and mercilessly spam you and monetise the ability to sell off your contact details and so on it’s absolutely deranged.

I have flashlights that are borderline unusable because, while the hardware is fine, the company that made them (hello OLight!) demands that you install and login to the storefront before you can access the configuration software.

But they don’t actively maintain the software or provide any of the new utilities that they promise. They are mostly using it as a way to turn off functional hardware to try and force you to upgrade.

We are living in a society where you can pay for something and the manufacturer can turn it off because they’ve decided that you’ve owned it too long .

I’ve just had to warn my family not to buy electronic door locks because the chances are, if they are Internet connected they will be disabled once the company that owns them has decided that they’re not making enough money charging you a monthly fee to open your own front door.

This is part of an ongoing trend to turn money into something that is no longer usable by everybody .

The eventual aim is to be able to pay people company scrip: If you lose your job, or badmouth the company, or disagree with the dictator, they severely curtail what you are allowed to buy, and from who.

And at that point, you have to pick sides – do you want to be able to have drinking water from Coca-Cola, or Pepsi, and whose package allows you to buy Doritos, and use your smart oven to cook food? Because it won’t turn on unless you use the app to scan the appropriate barcode from the company who now owns your ability to eat drink, heat your home, and wear clothes from brands that they approve.

And if you think that Bezos wouldn’t do that or run his own ghetto where employees have to use Amazon brands and be paid in Amazon money… You haven’t been paying attention to what he’s been building lately.
