Little Miss Long Legs is Playtime CO’s stretchiest and bendiest toy! Using Playtime Co’s patented “elastic plastic”, this little spider can stretch up to 8 feet across! Little Miss Long Legs can also disattach and reattach her limbs so girls can mix-and-match all sorts of colorful beads and charms!
Created in the early 1990 and releasing later in the Spring, Little Miss Long Legs was met with rather lukewarm reception. While not quite a failure, she wasn’t as popular as Playtime CO’s other toys, barely making a decent profit in its first year of release.
Still, Playtime Co made the bold move and added her to Playtime Park not even a year after her initial debut. In the Spring of 1991, Little Miss Long Legs was introduced to Playtime Park as an on-site“nanny”, along with Playtime Park’s newest addition, Playcare Daycare!
Playcare Daycare was created to provide on-site childcare services to parents with younger children, providing them with quality babysitting and including quiet rooms (along with cribs and beds for their children) and play areas, allowing parents to enjoy the rest of Playtime Park.
With her kind and patient personality, multiple limbs, and her wonderful ability to multitask, parents can now rest easy knowing that their little tykes are in the hands of Little Miss Long Legs! She’ll watch over them as if they were her own children… She’ll feed them, clothe them, even cry for them when they leave. She’ll never let them out of her sight… ever!
