The instant she saw that smile, Holly wasn’t so sure what to think. She knew her husband a little too well to immediately think he’d done something good, or nice. The mischievous younger man’s ambiguous look made Holly side-eye the holy hell out of him.

He then holds out a piece of paper, good quality, something he’d use for drawing-- which is exactly what he’d done. “Stop pushing yourself,” Arin grunted. His voice couldn’t go forceful on it’s own, not without the aid of a joking demeanor. But there was an almost deadly silence that crept upon the artist, and he watched it reflect off of Ross.

“Yes, really. And if I have to step in, that means shit’s not right, man. We’ve been through this before-

You’re almost like family.” 

A grin cracked over the grump’s lips; Arin was consciously trying to lighten the other’s mood.

Another heavy sigh leaves the Aussie and he’s shaking his head a little. Yes, he may have been working a little more than usual and maybe he should be sleeping a little  better but he was fine.

Ross sighs, slowly walking closer to the taller male as he speaks. He wasn’t too sure what was going on but he wasn’t about to leave the guy alone. He was upset about something– that or he was stressing out– and Ross at least wanted to try and help him out.

A heavy sigh leaves the Aussie as he takes a moment to process what the man had said. Of course he knew that Arin cared, honestly he did, but there were bigger things on his plate than this. Ross hadn’t needed to worry him and stress him out anymore than the guy already was.
