-donāt feel bad if you gain weight during the holidays (winter is a time for keeping warm and eating treats, this is alright. do some stretches and light exercise if you feel like it, but donāt starve yourself or stress out)
-you arenāt obligated to celebrate something that you donāt enjoy or isnāt part of your traditions, if somebody is trying to guilt-trip you into celebrating Christmas, they need to back off
-watchĀ ācomfort moviesā that make you feel better, regardless if they are about holidays or notĀ
-donāt be ashamed if you canāt afford gifts for everybody
-if you feel overwhelmed, plan for some alone time to chill. go for a quiet walk, take a long bath/shower, read that book youāve been missing out on, take a nap. if you are feeling isolated, contact somebody or even just go where people are. go to the grocery store when you donāt need to buy anything (but maybe get a snack just because), call your friends/family, go see a movie alone or in a group, visit the library or a bakery
