Felt this was needed!

My name is RubyLeonis, and this is my writing sideblog. Pronouns are they/them, I am agender, and I am in my 20s.

My personal pet/passion project is “Transformers: New World” on A03. This is my post-apocalyptic fan-continuity. Feel free to ask questions about it, since I am pouring so much into this universe!

I have a second project thanks to one of my discords, it being “Sailor Moon: The Comets of Veridian”. This is pretty much a project to help keep me from getting burnt out on TF:NW.

I do not really do requests due to a lot of self-conscious issues. Same with commissions. I might do them for friends though. My writing is an outlet, not a source of income unless I get brave enough.

I DO mainly write:

- Transformers (particularly my fan continuity)

- OC stuff (oc x canon is fun, so I never judge)

- Meas the Multiversal Menace 🙂

I do NOT write:

- pedophilia and hebephilia

- Incest (adopted and step family count in my book)

- Dub-con and non-con

- NSFW (not good at it)

After some talk in the CA server, I felt inspired to do a group pic of all the native Australian animal senshi.

Being bad with groups and poses, I chose to do a screenshot edits, though there is a lot of completely free drawn work in it too. Mostly the screenshot just allowed me to map out the poses, and helped with the fingers lol

I needed one extra person in there, so used a screenshot of Jupiter that was suggested by TridecaQuin.

You know what. There are plenty of uncaring, ambiguously-sentient megastructures in fiction. I want to see over-caring, unambiguously-sentient megastructures. A vast expanse of concrete that shifts and warps to "protect" those who are within it, which just results in them getting trapped and dying of starvation because the megastructure doesn't understand how organic beings work. A constantly-expanding mass of living machinery that cocoons people within its walls and keeps them alive forever, to keep them safe from a threat that might not even be there anymore. Do you see my vision.

Yes I know that first one is kind of a more openly-benevolent version of the Oldest House from Control, but uhhhhhhh

Not sure why it's a new trend among fic readers to assume if the fic has not been posted within the week it's inappropriate to comment on it, like the fic has to be hot out of the oven to give feedback for.

I got a comment on a fic that is less than a year old and it was mostly an apology for being a comment on an "old fic" and how late they were in commenting.

Just comment on the fic. Doesn't matter how old it is.

honestly tho if joanne eats it in the next five to ten years the cultural reaction is going to be insufferable. everyone who has barely been able to hide their rabid obsession with the racist dogshit books is going to go “oh cool i can openly be into h*rry p*tter again” and any criticism of this stance will become grounds for mass harassment.

PSA: For fan works, reblog and like from OP

Tumblr is rolling out a new reblog/notes system that completely disregards creators. In their new system, they're taking a twitter-style approach where reblogs will have their own notes that DO NOT contribute to the original post's notes.

Because of this, creators will no longer be able to see an accurate display of likes/reblogs/etc. This is completely altering the way feedback and responses to works are going to be received on this website.

If you come across a fan work that you enjoy, please take the extra step to go to OPs original post, and leave your comment/like/reblog there. Or go one step further and send an ask to OP directly to tell them what you liked!

I really hope Tumblr staff reverses course and reverts to the original reblog system for the sake of the large base of creators who use this site to share their works, but until then, please be considerate and make sure the creators here see/feel the love.

If you're ever worried about whether your writing is too self indulgent, I just want you to remember that Sharknado had 5 sequels. I'm only partway through watching Sharknado 6: It's About Time, but already they've traveled through time and ridden a pteronadon into a Sharknado so they could use the magic teleportation portal inside of it to travel forward in time to King Arthur's time, where they are currently battling a Sharknado full of fire-breathing dragon sharks with Excalibur, which is a chainsaw sword that calls lightning. You're fine. In fact, be a little more self indulgent if anything.
