There is so much to unpack in this scene..

But this time, I will focus on the fact Ruby, who could ride the queen lancer (that’s the name right?) on her feet without issue now HAS to move to right behind Weiss, hug her and literally lock her fingers at the front. Because gods forbid she gets separated from her wife for 2 seconds.

The other funny thing about this scene is how after Weiss catches her, she holds Ruby’s hand (purposefully does so, considering she was initially holding Ruby’s arm) and when Ruby moves her hand away Weiss’ own hangs in the air for a bit before she moves away too.

I would also like to point out that as always, Ruby’s habit to look at Weiss first before anything shows here, when the others are looking towards the ground where nora and jaune fell, she is as well, then as soon as ren screams, Weiss looks elsewhere and others follow along with Ruby but Ruby is a second late because unlike others she just had to look at Weiss first.. yes

She actually does this in vol9 too. I even made a gif of it..

I think about this scene from the Weiss anthology a lot.. I really do believe Weiss absolutely says stuff like this all the time and no one even bats an eye cause she says it so casually XD I’m kind of obsessed with the “You’re so sweet Ruby, just like sugar.” line, I have it plastered everywhere on all my socials..

Also, I think Weiss gets cuteness aggression from Ruby. She probably looks at her and sees those puppy eyes and chubby cheeks and tries to not bite them

was analyzing, I saw some scenes from those movies that RWBY participated in with the DC heroes and stuff, and there they were in a Vacuo, right? So, in that scene it's kind of a line in V10. Then I noticed something interesting! At this moment here, after Ruby fought against a snake, Yang and Blake talk to Ruby about her acting this way, well, Yang talks about it and stuff. And then in this scene, Weiss is quiet and saddened by Atlas falling. And then Weiss decides to leave the room and go away.

And it's at that moment that I realized something… Ruby is the first and only one who mentions Weiss's name, concerned about her leaving. She remained quiet the entire time, and Ruby was apparently the first to notice she had left.

Anyway, with this scene and a few other small ones I saw of interaction between Weiss and Ruby, I feel there might be more whiterose out there.
