Okay but MJ has said their feelings have been the same since the pilot which is why it’s not a triangle…so it’s a good thing that Riley said she’s felt the same since falling on his lap because that means she has liked him since the beginning. Maya bringing up the campfire means she hasn’t liked him since the beginning. And Lucas contrary to belief isn’t confused. He said he has different feelings for both of them and he doesn’t want anybody to get hurt. He knows how he feels but doesn’t want to lose either one so he is letting them decide.

the thing i love about Riley? is she seems to have everything. two parents, nice place to live, good friends, good grades, good head on her shoulders and yet… she suffers from anxiety, insecurity, and depression. its important to me cause i had those same things, and when i started dealing with my depression in high school, i opened up to some people about it, said “you know there’s people who are worse off” and that made me feel worse. people keep saying how maya has it worse that’s why they feel for her, but i feel like we need to rally around riley cause she has everything that should make someone happy, and yet she’s depressed and insecure. it proves that mental illness (depression, addiction, bipolar disorder and many many others) can effect anyone and everyone no matter what.

This is a great gif set. It really makes me appreciate this moment more than I did before. I love the expressions on Lucas’s face when he looks up at Cory. It makes me wish for a kind of mentor relationship between the two of them like Mr. Feeny was with Cory. I’d love to see him get past the mindset that Lucas is some sort of a threat and welcome him into their family. Seeing as the poor boy doesn’t seem to have parents of his own.
