This post is to let everyone know that I will be taking a short break from Instagram. Since the start of the new year I feel as though almost weekly I have had to deal with individuals reposting my images, impersonating me, being rude, abusing both myself and my friends and today a case has arisen that has been the last straw. I am not someone who gets angry easily but today my blood nearly boiled. I do not care one bit what 'haters' or 'trolls' have to say about my prices, my appearance, my personality or my work however I will not stand by while my friends are abused for just having a connection to me. The sheer ignorance, stupidity and I dare say evilness of some Instagram users in harassing me is just insane and having to report and take down accounts weekly is getting too much. I am a third year university student, running a shop, a YouTube and 3 Instagram accounts. I do not need more things to worry about! I know many people will merely tell me to ignore the 'haters' however that is not possible as they are not simple comments, people create accounts to directly 'bully' me. Although I may not take their comments or posts to heart I will not allow them to slander my friends, put my followers at risk or generally act maliciously. I am not afraid to block, report and get accounts removed when they put my followers are risk. I know many of these individuals may be young and silly however to me, right now that is no excuse if people cannot behaviour in a decent way online I do not want them to be apart of my accounts in any way now or in the future. Age is not an excuse to act like an awful human being. All this of course is all worth it in the long run as the majority of my followers are incredible wonderful people but right now I need a break. I know these things won't stop but I can remove myself at least for a little bit before I go mad! I know this may come as a surprise because I do not make these accounts or incidences public but this will only be for a short time and I hope everyone understands. I may pop in to give quick shop updates but for the most part will remain inactive posting on my accounts.
