Tugging their braid out of their, they exhaled softly. They've recently gotten home from the Sunday sermon, Leviathan was tired. Hearing footsteps, they raised their head slightly looking towards the door. "Ah, mother.. good afternoon.."

"Afternoon my child," She spoke gently as the elder vampire walked over to them. Grabbing a hair brush, gently brushing Levi's hair "I have a small favor to ask from you my dear." ⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘

early Oakhurst ;; before core four vamps were exposed.

They didn't understand why the town was so panicked about the possibility of vampires. Leviathan exhaled softly before heading towards the forest, since Avid likes to be a little loud about vampires. Stepping near the lake, Levi crossed their arms looking at the water below. Silence was refusing.

It was always so nice and painful to be back here. Leviathan visited Cleo and Pearl.. paid respects at graves until..

Him.

Gripping the bouquet of flowers, Levi noted how the dirt was messed up.. not normally odd— animals would find themselves around some times.

Crouching down, gently fixing the dirt. They laid the flowers on top afterwards.

Forget-me-nots, white orchids, pink carnations, purple tulips and pink camellias.

An I miss you type of bouquet.

Staying crouched down for awhile, their eyes studying the tombstone standing there before an exhale left them. Levi's head dropped slightly down, as they mumbled something under their breath. Probably a little prayer, it wasn't impossible for the priest to do just that.

There's a sound somewhere behind Levi, back towards the treeline.

An ear twitched at the sound, Levi's head tilted up slightly. Pushing themselves to their feet, moving slightly to look towards the sound. Trying to locate the sound and whom it was from.

Now that Levi is looking for something they pick up on some of the signs they had missed before. The treeline is burnt, stopping suddenly in its spread as if controlled. Much of the exposed earth around has also been blackened and charred by something.

That's.. new.

Levi turned properly towards the treeline, before tracking forward. Their hand gently brushed against the wood, looking at the soot on the palm of their hand.

Brushing their hand against their pants, luckily it blended into the black of their pants.

There's a sound of something moving again and Owen steps into view.

He isn't easy to recognise, darker skin and hair than his vampire form had shown, and warm brown eyes instead of red. He still holds that same uncanny grace but it's paired with an odd creaking sound occasionally as he moves.

"Hello, Legs?"

His voice is familiar.

Freezing slightly, Leviathan's eyes locked on where Owen stood. That voice. Their shoulders dropped slightly before speaking up slightly

"not him," they mumbled their hand against a tree, staring at him "both have L names though-"

"Levi."

Owen steps out fully taking the other in. The face is familiar, one he'd watched recently. But that couldn't be. Not here. Not now. They'd had this conversation before. They weren't him. It was okay. Okay.

Nodding slightly, Levi stared at him "Yeah-" chewing at their lip slightly before speaking up "Do- Do I want to ask how you are alive?—"

[owen-the-lumberjack]

Owen takes a careful few more steps towards Levi.

"It's a bit of an odd story.... Were you ever aware that I wasn't full vampire?"

Now that he's closer it's easier to see his hands, they remain clawed like a vampire's but now they're a dark grey-black that fades its way up his arm.

"That would explain a few questions I had," Levi's hand moved slightly. They were about to take his hand but were hesitant. They didn't know if he'd allow them to touch him— "is that related to the fact you are here.. in front of me- alive-"

"That's our working theory."

He lifts a clawed hand and scratches at his arm, an nervous fidget he has yet to break since loosing his bandages.

"When I came too I was up here and everything was burnt."

Stepping forward, Levi's hands gently gripped onto one of Owen's. Moving it away from his skin "That's.. interesting," they mumbled softly, their hand gently tracing the dark claws in fascination. Still as curious about everything as normal.

Wherever Levi makes contact with the dark skin his hands come away coated in soot.

"I should've known I wouldn't be allowed even that choice. I remain chained to this world."

When they moved their hand to look, they tilted their head to the side slightly, pressing their fingers together watching the soot dust off. Mumbling softly "how fascinating.." they comments softly to themself. A little zoned out about what's going on with Owen's hands, Leviathan gently traced his palm "..maybe the world has plans for you..?"

Owen is slowly turning red as he watches Levi play with his hands. It’s still strange to have people be so willing to touch him.

“Maybe…”

Leviathan hummed slightly, their eyes studying the other's hands. Gently moving them closer to themself, thumb rubbing gently against his knuckles "Y'know.. I've never seen you before stage three.."

“It wasn’t necessary for me to keep up the human charade for very long in Oakhurst. Not with Scott around.”

"brown is fitting.." Levi comments softly glancing towards him motioning towards his hair with a gentle smile.

“The red was… his, more than mine.”

He hasn’t seen himself since he returned. Too scared to see his own reflection. To confirm that he had truely lost his gift.

"Red is just as beautiful," Levi gently tilted Owen's head to look at him "you are beautiful either way.." they comment, staring at him.

Owen goes bright red at the compliment and contact, melting into the touch slightly as he lets Levi move his head.

“Thank you. You look nice too.”

"thanks," Levi chuckled "I think it was to basically match Scott in some way-" they hummed slightly, a smile growing a bit more upon their face "..you really are still pretty."

His voice is calm but the blush on his cheeks has begun to literally glow, a soft orange-red, giving away just how much leviathan words affect him.

That definitely caught Levi's attention, their hand moving to cup his cheek gently their thumb rubbing gently against him

"fascinating.. you are basically glowing-"

"Yeah, I haven't figured out how to control that yet..."

He lets his eyes slide closed and he leans into the hand on his cheek.

He glances down at the dirt they had just fixed. Louis was glad to see that someone could at least keep the grave nice when he couldn't.

Gripping the bouquet of flowers, Levi noted how the dirt was messed up.. not normally odd— animals would find themselves around some times.

Crouching down, gently fixing the dirt. They laid the flowers on top afterwards.

Forget-me-nots, white orchids, pink carnations, purple tulips and pink camellias.

An I miss you type of bouquet.

Staying crouched down for awhile, their eyes studying the tombstone standing there before an exhale left them. Levi's head dropped slightly down, as they mumbled something under their breath. Probably a little prayer, it wasn't impossible for the priest to do just that.

An ear twitched at the sound, Levi's head tilted up slightly. Pushing themselves to their feet, moving slightly to look towards the sound. Trying to locate the sound and whom it was from.

Now that Levi is looking for something they pick up on some of the signs they had missed before. The treeline is burnt, stopping suddenly in its spread as if controlled. Much of the exposed earth around has also been blackened and charred by something.

Levi turned properly towards the treeline, before tracking forward. Their hand gently brushed against the wood, looking at the soot on the palm of their hand.

Brushing their hand against their pants, luckily it blended into the black of their pants.

He isn't easy to recognise, darker skin and hair than his vampire form had shown, and warm brown eyes instead of red. He still holds that same uncanny grace but it's paired with an odd creaking sound occasionally as he moves.

His voice is familiar.

"I should've known I wouldn't be allowed even that choice. I remain chained to this world."
