well shit.  since my wife completely overhauled everything maybe i should too.

                      “         ——       tch.   ”               expression is nothing short of severe,    sharp angles accentuated;    teeth bared in a sneer.     nearly every inch of his too - long limbs is swathed in darkness,    which only serves to make his eyes shine all the brighter among his monochromatic visage.    surly,    &   not the least bit entertained,    clawed fingertips curl unto one another as he steps out from shadow   ---   it’s very essence alive, pulling itself off from his figure as that was were it lived.    which it very well may.  

               “      if you think i am impressed,   jack,   you are sorely mistaken.    ”

  “         ——       jack,       ”               oh how he slithers,  equally snake-like as he is shadow, pouring himself into any available crevice as surely as he seeps out from where the moon’s light does not touch.   there’s something brimming within, clawing, simmering.   barely contained    &    all too feral for the seemingly charming smile pitch offers the frost sprite   :   even if it is lined with razor sharp teeth.

                 “        what a pleasant surprise.    thinking of me, were you?     ”

                the girl spends a majority of her time in the darkness, game console being the only source of light. it’s no wonder why her eyes have adjusted to the dark oh so well, she can see it ALL. gazlene knows of his presence, feels the fear radiating off his person. but she does not FEAR him, she welcomes him as a guest. a single umbra structure shoots from her back, it acts as a tentacle, but once near him, it changes form. a hand.   ❛  i always knew you were real, always wondered why you’d never appeared to me. ❜ the game slave is closed, putting an end to the only light in the room. another structure protrudes, this one shooting towards her light switch, vanishing once the lights to her room were turned on.

                     oh,  very interesting.    while there always were breeds of children with more backbone than others,  none of them were quite so                    canid,  or welcoming to what lurked in the dark.    that alone is enough to,  if only for the time being,  pique his interest.  narrowed,   saffron-spun gaze follows the bursting appendage with a quirk of an arched brow,  before indulging the girl.  claws grasp the offered hand, and shadows bleed from the the tips of his fingers,  encasing it further.  

                 ❛                    i do so hate to disappoint such an ardent fan.    alas,  devouring the good dreams of weaker children can become quite time-consuming.  it often leaves little room for much else.   but,   you inspire fear in others,    and that is certainly worth a visit.       PITCH BLACK.        a pleasure.        ❜
