Heres a thing of me thinking about the intricacies and societal differences between two of my major kindoms in Hiraeth!

Monolithia

• mining kingdom, armors are composites of different ores and crystal

• is/was a heavy military kingdom, heavy armor is worn at all times by gaurds as a show of both power strength and a way to discourage attacks

Has a brutal and ruthless higher society, previously empowered by the former king, theres political unrest among the upper class now as the new crowned monarch (Cecelias brother, Azarian) attempts to undo generations of brutality and hatred sowed within the nation, its people, and outsiders

Lithia

• fishing / trade kingdom, armors and clothes are actually made of reinforced fibers and armor is worn under the outfits, as the kindom doesnt want to present as a threat, its a way of showing peace even in times of war

• leather armor made from tanned (and usually dyed whale hides) with carved whale bone as a protective layer on the chest protecting the heart and higher up organs further

Cecelia ran away from her duties as crown princess to Lithia, bringing her fathers illegitimate child / her baby sister with her so she would be safe, and fell in love with the crown princess of the kingdom, Synthia.

She ended up becoming her royal gaurd and princess consort!

They are due to be crowned soon as the kindom is in an peaceful era, they have an spellborn heir, and Synthias parents believe it is time to usher in a new era of prosperity with a new set of rulers

Athalia, just Athalia. An orphan from a not-so common family, Athalia holds no memory of her past up until the point her circus troupe took her in and saved her

Apart from a fairly powerful grimore and incredible trapeze abilities Athalia is nothing but your ordinary magic knight. She likes ordinary things like pasta, exercise, singing, making others smile, and she hates ordinary things like fire, lizards, the color pink, and... doctors!

Just an ordinary knight with a normal backstory, really, she joined the knights after her circus troupe was burned down to the ground, leaving her as the sole survivor. She doesn't really look for vengeance or anything, her mission is to move forward and make others smile so she can honor her families legacy, and if sometimes she feels as if they're right by her side then that's not important, is it? @queenbutterfly276
