    transferring from her PRIVATE school to liberty high was a turning point in the young lodge’s life. veronica hated to admit to herself but she knew she used to be a HEINOUS BITCH back in the day.  she was a typical trope of a mean girl && hearing about the tragedy of hannah baker made her rethink things. could she become someone’s reason ? she didn’t want to find out.  

            the fresh smell of ground coffee fills the air. ever since moving here, she’s been to monet’s daily. in front of her is a familiar face. veronica musters up the courage to speak,

     IT   FEELS   LIKE   A   WEIGHT   on   JESSICA'S   shoulders,   the   death   of   HANNAH   BAKER   still   haunting   her   every   move.     it   doesn't   help   that   tapes   were   left,   nailing   her   as   a   reason   for   the   suicide   that   rocked   LIBERTY   HIGH.  

      eyes   drift   up,   catching   the   girl’s   with   an   uncomfortable   feeling   of   guilt    and   she   gives   an   inanimate   smile,   mug   brought   to   her   lips   to   prolong   the   silence   between   the   two   of   them.     ❝  i'm   fine,   ❞   she   truly   wants   to   believe   it,   but   there's   a   part   of   her   that   knows   she   can't  ┅  how   could   she   ever   be   fine   with   the   death   of   one   of   her   ex-best   friends?     ❝  you   seem   to   be   holding   up..     had   you   ever   met   HANNAH?     you   know,   before? ❞
