Runaways: the novel

So, as many of you know we’re creating a graphic novel for Runaways! The graphic novel, which Maggy works really really hard on, is based off of characters we created together and a novel that I am writing. 

I was really hesitant to put my writing on the internet bc, hey, that’s really scary putting your hard work out there for other people to read and judge (hopefully you guys like it). But I realized that if Maggy was brave enough to put her art out there for you guys, the least I could do was put out the novel. 

SO! What that means is that I’ve officially published the first part of Runaways: the novel on tapastic! Please go read it, it’ll give you a lot of insight into these characters and what’s currently going on in the graphic novel.

My simspiration came back this weekend!

hey hi beautiful people, 

the new page for Runaways is up! Maggy was so happy to finally be drawing something that didn’t take place in the forest lol. 

So far this is definitely one of my favorite pages. We’ve been playing around with new story boards and how to make the pages more dynamic and interesting, and I think we did a pretty successful job with this page.
