We have $52 of spending budget left for the month. It wasnât awfully constraining, but our freezer is EMPTY and my in-laws bought fajita stuff which we ate for days. So...next month may be tough đ
I did get my 7 miles yesterday morning! Itâs for sure the longest run since March and maybe the longest since New Yearâs Day.

When I start a training program, I usually end up falling âbehindâ which makes me frustrated and give up. In Aaptiv it just holds my place. Iâm on week 6 workout 4 of the Half Marathon program right now and I have no idea when I actually started it or what week I âshouldâ be on. I donât feel pressured!
The downside is that I feel like all of the workouts in the plan are pretty high effort, so I just donât think itâs good for me to hit all of them in one week especially while maintaining the run streak.
Anyway, when I feel like training, I pull up my next planned workout. When I just feel like running, I run!
This tempo workout was supposed to have one more mile, but that didnât seem like a good idea so I called it at 3.25 miles. The dayâs âcoolerâ afternoon was still pretty warm and getting to me.
Next up is a long run of 8ish miles. I am ready to slow down and take it all in! Better knock that out first thing tomorrow morning.

Iâve lost 4 pounds? I feel like Iâve been eating nonstop, but we are eating less fast food and more fresh produce to save money/reduce waste. I didnât expect this benefit, for sure thought I had gained. When we eat out I usually choose a âhealthyâ item, but I guess this proves eating clean and fresh at home wins.

I accidentally ordered pineapple on our pizza and R pooped in the cabinet đđ€Ł
Bought some meat on sale and lots of produce this week. Steak, sweet potato, veggie skillet dish for lunch today. Only items in a package were the meat and egg.
I bought coffee in bulk again this week...even though itâs actually twice as expensive as what I usually get on Amazon. I probably shouldnât drink so much anyway so maybe that will help me taper off.
Looks like weâre about $75 under budget on spending so far this month. đ
