absolute dickwads. sorry for the radio silence, i didn’t exactly have access to rofflenet while running for my life and hiding out, lmao. couple days of backlog to be posted.

we’re further away from the fire than it looks, but that’s not stopping the zombies from getting too close to the barricade. for how quickly Brunswick had to put it together, it’s honestly pretty impressive. who knows how long we’re gonna be holed up here, though. for now i’ll take it as an opportunity to rest, at least as much as one can rest with zombies making a ruckus.

a kiddo lent me a pencil crayon for the orange bits, asked if we were gonna be okay. I told them i’m sure Abel will figure something out.

not sure how much I believed it, things don’t exactly look great over here. i wasn’t gonna tell that to a kid, though.

Brunswick's comms got roasted so i was sent to warn them of an incoming hoarde. Met up with Runner 8, who apparently wasn't supposed to be out. Got there just in time.

got a break yesterday and spent most of the day in the defence tower. it was cold and rainy and kind of unnerving just watching the zombies mindlessly shuffling across the field and scratching at the gate. not sure whether i preferred it— being alone with my thoughts in the tower might be worse than running from zombies with people who are suspicious of me.

Explored the area around Abel Township with the "non-official" Head of Runners, 7, i think they called him?, and retrieved a government supply drop. 7 also seems to be suspicious about me but less so, or is at least being less aggressive about it.

Apparently a town called... damn, I don't remember... but regardless, apparently a town nearby suddenly burned down out of nowhere. I found an article from Vermanen Times about three fires at a university research building. Could it be related?

Abel's gate got stuck open and while we were running to distract the hoarde, Runner 8 expressed that they were incredibly suspicious of me and my apparently extremely convenient arrival.

I'm not sure why she suspects me so much but I hope she lays off me soon.

i don’t know the name of my bunkmates yet but i slept pretty well last night and got a shower this morning. nervous about my running with the group today but we’ll see how it goes

Survived rocket launcher attack on our helicopter. Evaded zombies, collected a supposedly very important file, and made it to Abel Township. Broadcasting to whoever is listening, I suppose for either my own comfort or my amusement.
