So I found your king AU post and I'm not even gonna lie, I've been thinking about Lawrence being the Mad King of FH. He'd be all cool and calculating and deliver threats that would make a grown man shit his pants in a voice so calm that it far extends the definition of truly horrifying. But then he has cute little moments where he smiles and his eyes crinkle and he laughs but at the same time he's a tremendous force of power and intelligence who's fiercely protective of those he loves.
The only difference in the Mad King and Lawrence in this verse would be the drive behind their actions; MK absolutely wants the power, the glory, the ability to crush a man’s entire life with just a wave of his hand. Lawrence wants that, too, but he also absolutely finds humor in being terrifying (he killed a man, people freaked out, how fucking cool is that?).
