Latest little jawn that’s rolling out now. This #branding was done for my pals at @springhousebeer for the new in house dining collab with Rosa Rosa. I’m always excited to make some #pizza design work and this was no exception. Along with the main #logo I wanted a simple little secondary mark, which is where the drippy pizza slice mark comes in. Little refresh on this guy from pals at @springhousebeer that was released a bit ago. Big changes on this one were fitting it into the new label template, no more portrait on the side, and an expansion of the magical, occult like marks all over the label! The gold really pops with the metallic, shiny finish, and the expansion of the weird doodles really accents that. The main illustration and type stayed the same on this one because it fit perfectly with the new label basically. I know it’s a few days in, but our two month old requires much attention, but still, happy #pride everyone! This year, I am trying to learn more about the history of pride, including learning more about stone wall, which lead me to make this piece. Reading and learning about Stormé DeLarverie has been fascinating and enlightening. Stormé was one of the many sparks of the stonewall rebellion/uprising, yelling this quote to the crowd as she was being beat by the police for complaining her cuffs were too tight. On top of being one of the icons of stonewall, she was also just a fascinating human being! While I’m currently drowning in full time job work and taking care of the baby boy, I thought I could post this #label refresh for my pals at @springhousebeer that I found I the wild at a giant beer section! So this is just a refresh on a previous #illustration I made for them, but adjusted to fit the new label layout, new #type for the name, and a new background design to really fill out the label. Here’s a random little, but very fun thing I made from by pals at @springhousebeer ... a super #spoopy #taphandle oOoOo. Now the photo on the left is just a prototype, but even still it turned as cool as I imagined. I wanted to make a design that functioned from all angles, but told the same story throughout, so I created a fish tank or looking out a window kind of view of #piranha and one of their victims sinking into the dirt. Seeing how their is an entire series of #horror films based around these little guys, I thought it fit the vibe pretty well, with a little campy fun twist as well.
