Uncontrolled Gaming Addiction
Video game addiction is described as an impulse control disorder, not like other addictions that uses drugs and alcohol or other chemicals. Video game addiction has also been referred to as video game overuse, /excessive use of computer games and/or video games. Causing them health problems and mostly become thin and skinny.
Those suffering from video game addiction use the Internet to access massive multi-player online role-playing games and multi-user domain games . Multi-player online role-playing games are networks of people, all interacting with one another to play a game to achieve goals, accomplish missions, and reach high scores in a fantasy world. Multi-user domain games combine elements of role-playing games, fighting, and killing in a game server. Some of the most popular on-line games include Dota 2, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Mobile Legends.
As I observed to other gamers why they can play these games non-stop, common reasons are because it helps their hand and eye coordination skills, it gives them ranks in their teenage community and reputation and receive respect, it makes them feel worthy of their acheivements, and especially, it takes them to a whole new fantasy world where they can do whatever they want and forget the real world without anyone’s confirmation.
These problems can be stopped with enough control in their health. I can say to this that control plus discipline is better than prevention.
