The Witcher Netflix series is based off of the books, not the video games. Repeat. Repeat until you understand that, until your brother and your mother and your sister understand it. Slam forehead with Witcher books if needed.
The Netflix series tells a different story than the games. The creators have no obligation to make the series look like the video games, which are fan-fictional stories of what CD Projekt Red believes happened after the books.
Games are great, books are great. Instead of bashing the Netflix trailer about how it doesn't look like the game, let's instead hope that they do the book storyline justice, and that the atmosphere created in the books carries over to a screen.
Bear with me, yeah? And picture this:
Nathaniel Howe, wearing a white Henley and dark-wash barely bootcut jeans, dark Timberland boots.
Maybe a faded leather jacket too, on a nippy Fall day.
Yeah? Yeeeaaahhhh???
I'm playing through Dragon Age Origins again, going through all the quests, nooks, and crannies (rather impatiently) to get to Awakening.
Nathaniel Howe? How 'bout Nathaniel NOW.
I think the "dumb bystander" comment in the final episode script of GOT doesn't refer to the throne. This part of the script could use a better edit to clarify the grammar, but I believe the dumb bystander is Jon Snow. He wasn't the target of Drogon's flames, and he does just stand there and watch the throne melt. I would hesitate to call him a bystander, as well; he dealt the killing blow to Dany, which ignited Drogon's wrath. A bystander is someone uninvolved--a poor choice of description in the script. If this is truly what the script refers to, the misinterpretation could have been fixed by having another edit read-through.
So, about Nathaniel Howe. Assuming he is alive in Inquisition, he'd be what, 40 years old? Around there?
...are you telling me we've been deprived of craggy, cheekbones and sharp eyes Nathaniel Howe? Maybe a dash of grey at the temples? Why, bioware D;
An Evelyn Too Many?
Browsing through DAI fanfics for a raw, honest, and thorough exploratory of Cullen's and Trevelyan's relationship-- the entire relationship, from living with each other and themselves, despite their differences and even their similarities which, on occasion, threaten to blind themselves to those differences. But why, oh why, is every other Trevelyan named "Evelyn?" Did people run out of names? Do they like the twirl of the full name? I like the name (it's part of my name), but why the infatuation?
Vesemir: [taking attendance at Battle of Kaer Morhen] And is there a Ioriveth here?
Roche: That's one 'I' too many.
Iorveth: Do you think you're funny, dh'oine?
...sorry if this has been done before!
A very quick Levy sketch, more realistic interpretation. Still working on her hair (duh), just can’t quite figure out how I want it to look. I’m happy with her face: round, yet delicate, and innocent (at least, I tried for those three...) Eh, more to come with this.
My heart tells me it was Petra who killed Uldren, not my Guardian.
...does that mean it was an act of Venjeance? Were we just too... Petrafied to stop her?
Another Diarmuid. This has been on my comp for over a year now... oops.
Another interpretation of Diarmuid. I'm at The Met, btw.
I’m crying right now, please help
My abusive mother just told me that she “accidentally” threw away my passport when she was spring cleaning.
Guys, I’m supposed to be travelling overseas on January 10 to reconnect with my dad and discuss the possibility of him supporting me. After struggling to survive for months, this was supposed to be my chance at finally getting financial support.
But now I’m absolutely devastated. My mother will stop at nothing to keep me financially screwed and relying on food banks to live.
I MAY be able to get a new passport in time, but I would have to pay so many fees. $277 for a new one and $183 for it to be processed quickly.
if you can, maybe donate a few bucks to help me at http://paypal.me/gracchas ?
I KNOW THIS ISN’T THE MOST URGENT THING BUT I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THIS TRIP MEANS TO ME. I HAVEN’T SEEN MY FATHER IN YEARS. I WANT HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE HIM FOR YEARS AFTER THIS BECAUSE THIS WAS A ONE-TIME ONLY DEAL. I CAN’T LET MY MOTHER DO THIS TO ME.
PLEASE HELP AND REBLOG IF YOU CAN
If this post upsets you, please just keep scrolling
Hope this helps, even if it's only a little.
Two seconds here: just wanted to point out that Levy has a braid, Gajeel is looking at her with those eyes, and she's reading a book ("Fairys" is the first word of the title). And purple is one of Gajeel's colors.

What I think Diarmuid from Fate/Zero would look like in real life. imo he has curly/wavy hair, that thick wavy Irish hair, you know?
