I think it’s Xiao Long.

Summer’s Semblance is the same as Ruby’s, or at least shows white rose petals as its indicator.

I feel like, since we know Summer so well, they would have a more obvious indicator that it was her

But we have no clue what Xiao Long looks like at all. Yang barely does. I think Xiao Long is more likely.

Either way, though, I think the disappearance-as-semblance thing is important for either character, so perhaps Summer is/was capable of something similar with her rose petals?

Torchwick has become the Hazama of the RWBY fandom. He’s the well dressed classy as fuck asshole who’s actually good at his job and not just all talk and neck deep in crappy monologues. And when you beat him you realize that you didn’t really beat him because you find out later that he (and his backers) actually won and you lost because everything still got fucked and ended up the way they wanted it to be. So yeah, he got kicked in the face but the plan still worked and now everyone is fucked the way they wanted it to. Hooray for competent villains who actually do their jobs right.
